***IMPORTANT: After sticking the tape, proper pressure can effectively improve the stickiness.

Directions for Use
Tape is designed for
Indoor use – exposure to sun and heat may cause tape to become more difficult to remove.
Make sure surfaces are thoroughly clean and dry before applying masking tape.
Some surfaces, such as rubber gaskets and moldings, should be cleaned with a solvent to remove residual release agents from the manufacturing process before applying masking tape.
For best adhesion, surface temperatures should range from 60°F to 90°F when tape is applied.
For easier application and removal, apply long continuous strips of tape in flat, straight areas and break the tape often when going around contours or curves such as wheel arches.
The objective when back masking and over-taping is to keep the tape lying flat and rolled back, away from the paint edge in order to produce the cleanest look.

My car HAD a beautiful paint job. But the plastic-covered headlights had become fogged up, from years of Florida sunlight, so I bought the products to remove the haze, and bought this "automotive" tape to protect the surrounding areas from being touched by the electric polisher, and possibly creating swirls in the paint. Everything went as planned and hoped, until I pulled off the tape (which had only been on for a few minutes; not allowed to get baked on by the sun) and IT PULLED OFF THE CLEARCOAT.Every piece of it took the clearcoat with it as I removed it.Now my car looks beautiful, except when looked at from the front end, anywhere near the headlights. From that view, it looks like crap. This is not automotive tape. Not a product that any body/paint shop would ever use. It couldn't have harmed my vehicle any more than using Duct Tape would have done.If this warning helps one single person to not ruin their paint job by using this product, it will have been worth the time it took me to type it.

I've had issues with masking tape that either comes off too easily ( cheap green tape ) or that seems to be on forever and pulls wood slivers out when removed meaning I have to re-sand the project. This tape is strong but not too strong. Used it a lot since I bought it and am very happy with it.

We have purchased a lot of this tape because its cheaper then using FROG tape for everything. We do a lot of projects that require tape. It worked great for my husband when he repainted his Mustang. When it comes to taping for my epoxy projects I find that the epoxy still bleeds thru. It also worked great for painting our kitchen cabinets.

It's a lot of tape but it rips when you tear off the roll. Adhesion is sufficient for short term use but is lower quality than the more expensive brand. If you do a lot of masking it's fine.

Actually I liked everything about the tape product and will order it again. Has the right amount of adhesive and is easy to remove. Some tapes are difficult to use but this product is very easy to get masking done with.

Use this tape to mask off around headlights while refinishing them since they had started to turn cloudy. This tape goes on ok but comes off in bits and pieces and leaves gunk and residue behind. I spent more time trying to clean that off then to do the headlights. I use this now to tape up stuff for the garbage and even then it's almost useless as it barely sticks to itself.
