bought this for my grandson for his trombone. it is a little short of going through the trombone. But he said grandma its fine, it'll be ok! But it does say in the description for trumpet and trombone.

The snake brush works fine. The yamaha snake is also good, but Amazon doesn't seem to carry it.

Please, whatever you do, do not use for a substitute for a colonoscopy! Great for cleaning trumpet pipes and valves. Great for cleaning hard to clean small pipes and hard to reach areas!
