I went for a less expensive 7/8" door Gasket, and it seemed to fit but in doing the dollar bill test it just wasn't air tight - wasted effort. Some stoves require a HIGH DENSITY gasket, including my Country T-Top Model. This high density product works, but is very nearly too big, causing some trouble closing the stove door latch now. I'm sure it will mash down and conform better as time goes by.IF I had to do it again, I would use this same product, but I would stretch it out just a tad rather than laying it in straight out of the package. Hope this helps somebody!

Seems to have done what it was supposed to do, seal the door to our pellet stove. The glue that came with it was old and caked.

I ordered this for the Lopi M380 that was already installed when I bought my house. It's a discontinued model, so I had some trouble finding the size of the original door gasket. Most of my research indicated a 7/8" gasket rope and not 5/8". I almost bought a different gasket rope, but the reviews indicated that it was hollow in the middle and did not seal as well as they wanted, and recommended a high density rope. I ordered this about a month and a half ago and only got around to installing it now. Here are my pros and cons:Pros:- 8' of rope was enough for both doors, and I had about 2' extra- Dense rope is exactly as I imagined and wanted- end of rope were taped to prevent fraying when installing- easy to install- Made in USACons:- 30 bucks seems a bit pricey, but I don't really know the going price on different fiberglass rope. The rope is exactly what I want looking for, so I would buy again even with the price. The 7/8" rope fit great in the stove double doors, but I definitely had to manhandle the doors to close due to the high density and diameter. I don't have adjustable hinges, so the main tight spot was the back edge of the door near the hinges. I actually tried to stretch that length of rope to thin it out a little. After finally getting the door to latch, I let it set overnight so the cement would cure and checked it again this morning. The door latch a little easier now, but I went ahead and latched it even tighter to make sure I get a good seal and the door is not a pain to open and close. With all that being said, If I were to buy high density rope again, I might go for a 5/8" rope instead. None of the issues I had were from the rope itself, they were issues with my stove and my underestimation on how dense this rope was. I would buy again, but in a smaller diameter.

This gasket worked where other replacements didn't. This one is a "High Density" gasket which is what I needed. This part is also hard to find in this size,

Bought this for my Lopi Endeaver wood stove. Fit perfect. Due to it's thickness I had to back of the door latch screw initially and the fit was very good. Nice seal with no leakage. Very heavy duty and I expect to last as long, or more, than the original which was over 15 years.
