We have two grandfather clocks as well as several antique clocks. This oil stays stable between uses. The applicator is what makes this product; you can reach anywhere and apply the correct amount with ease. Oiling clocks can be a messy ordeal. Oil quality is excellent; a little goes a long way.

I ran the entire movement through an Ultrasonic cleaner and sparingly used the Liberty Oil on all the pivot points. This stuff is really doing the trick. I highly recommend it. The needle tube that comes with it is very handy for reaching into tough places.

Liberty oil was recommended as the specific oil to use for oiling grandfather clock mechanisms. By applying small amounts of oil to critical pivot points in the mechanism I was able to get our 200 year old clock working flawlessly once again. Great product. Highly recommend.

Bought this to oil my 1820 grandfather clock. It wasn’t keeping time and I figured it needed a clean and an oiling. This oil comes with a “needle” to screw on to bottle so you can squeeze oil out no matter the position of the bottle. Also easy to get into hard to reach places. Oiled the clock and that was two weeks ago and it’s been working great ever since. Will definitely buy this again when needed. Good quality oil as well

The hundred year old wall clock which I inherited from my parents 16 years ago stopped working after I adjusted the height of the pendulum to speed it up a little. I did some YouTube research and reckoned the oil had dried a little. I ordered this from Amazon and oiled those parts of the mechanism I could reach (the clock was last serviced 15 years ago). It comes with a 21G applicator. I put loads of oil on the parts the pendulum swings from, left the clock mechanism level overnight, then the following day started the pendulum swinging and it hasn't stopped. This saved me £600 and a journey to the horologist 20 miles away.

so what do you do when you inherit a bunch of vintage clocks and can't find a clock smith. On line it show's how to clean and re-oil clocks. This is the right oil for the job. has a long blunt syringe tip. With that and a dental tip was able to get them all going again. Good product

I used this oil to fix a 33 year old new in the box Howard Miller clock. retail is $1599.00 + tax.The clock arrived and it's Amazing ! The most beautiful clock I have seen.It worked perfect for 4 days then it went nutz. I am pretty handy about fixing almost anything.I was a little nervous about taking this clock apart. Most of it was simple but I had to take off the hands and the Dial to be able to look close and oil everything. It's not for the faint of heart. ( Most of the time you clean and oil.) But this Clock was clean. It just needed a very very small amount of oil in the correct places.OK..OK I used Youtube to help. The GOAL was the get the clock apart make sure I oil every spot that needs oil. Less oil is better! ( I use a toothpick! ) And when complete the clock should look like no one ever touched it.OHH and it should also work ! Project complete.
