On may 12, 2008 at Washington, d.C., The postal service re-issued the non-denominated first-class mail definitive forever stamp (liberty bell). The stamp was designed by carl t. Herman of Carlsbad, California. The stamp was first issued in 2007. The forever stamp will always be valid as first-class postage on standard envelopes weighing one ounce or less, regardless of any subsequent increases in the first-class rate. The stamp art depicts the liberty bell, which is perhaps the most prominent and recognizable symbol associated with American independence. Over the years, the historic significance of the bell's message has transcended our national borders, and today the liberty bell is an international icon of freedom. Replicas of the liberty bell exist in all fifty states and the district of Columbia. The stamp art features a computer-generated image of the liberty bell by nationally acclaimed artist tom engeman of Brunswick, Maryland. His previous projects for the postal service include stamped cards for Carlsbad caverns national park (2002), Ohio university (2003), and Columbia university (2003), as well as the 2003 American eagle definitive stamp, and the national world war ii memorial stamp issued in 2004. Made in the USA.

Forever Stamps are the way to go as they never expire. Very easy to purchase from Amazon & eliminates the need to wait on line at the post office.

I usually buy my stamps from the USPS website. These I had to buy from Amazon as they are now a collector item. Philadelphia Liberty Bell Stamps! They are worth the price as they are now “One of a Kind.” These were the very first Forever stamps sold.

I love the Liberty Bell Stamps, which I try to use since our last name is Bell. The detail in the bell is amazing considering it’s so small, but you can see the crack. 20 stamps in one booklet that was packaged correctly preventing any damage to the stamps, they arrived in perfect condition.

I don't use stamps like I use to but I keep some around just in case, the only stamps I buy are Forever mailing stamps. So if I buy stamps this year in 2022 I can still use them in 2023, nice to know because the stamps won't be wasted. Lately it so many designs I can choose from so many that I can start a very cool collection of them. No more old-school licking they come already pre sticky, just peel and put on your letters. I like buying my Forever stamps from Amazon, saving money, and getting them mailed right to my doorstep.
