Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this because of the variety of global flavors and the clean ingredients that they use. And it is organic! All around, very nice convenient food product for little ones.Portion size:The portion size is perfect for a toddler, both as a snack and even as a meal on days they happen to have no appetite. Very easy to carry in our lunch box when we have a day out. Taste:I have to say, these are really delicious. Very flavorful, not your typical bland baby food. Even I would eat it.Snack quality:Quality of ingredients is great. Everything on the ingredients list are things I would use to make a similar dish, nothing artificial or words you cannot pronounce. I especially love that they are all certified organic.Definitely recommend these savory snacks pouches. My 2 year old loves them all except maybe not so much the Jamaican inspired one. But otherwise, thanks for a yummy clean and convenient snack for my little one.

I ordered these pouches for my 17-month-old granddaughter. My daughter is very picky when it comes to products for her. These Li'l Hala pouches made the cut! She loves that they are made with free-range chicken, grass-fed beef, and organic vegetables. The meat is sourced from family farms with humane practices and they are Halal. They add no sugar, hormones, or preservatives. The pouches are BPA-free and the ingredients are tested for heavy metals. At the current price of $24.99, each pouch costs $4.17, which is comparable to the Serenity Kids pouches she regularly purchases. The price is reasonable considering the high-quality and clean ingredients and the fact that it is a complete balanced meal. Plus, they are made in the USA! There are cheaper options on the market, but they aren't complete balanced meals that include meat and they don't have such high standards for ingredients. The added expense is completely justifiable. The flavors are a fun way to introduced her to ethnic foods. It is easy for her to eat the thick purees independently with little to no mess. The pouches are especially helpful when a meal is needed on the go. They can be tossed in a diaper bag or purse to have on hand at any time since they require no refrigeration before opening. Each pouch is 3.5 oz, which is plenty to satisfy her appetite. They are a winner!

This is definitely one of the more unique baby food brands I’ve come across. The ingredients are clean, and I see zero preservatives (no artificial preservatives) so I'm assuming they use high-heat pasteurization and fully sealed pouches that's BPA free which is standard for higher end organic pouches these days.Note: This is so easy to use, just twist off the cap and bam, a meal for your tot. But after you open it, you MUST refrigerate an opened pouch. After opening, the air and bacteria make the sealed food behave like regular fresh food again and will spoil. Use it within 2-3 days and put it in the fridge. The flavors are what really stand out. It’s not your usual applesauce or carrots. They have things like Pad Thai Chicken and Pot Roast. From what I’ve read, this is intentional. Lab tests and other studies show introducing babies to herbs, spices, and savory flavors earlier than 18 months can help expand their palate later on for the *rest of their life*.Each pouch has fiber, there's no added sugar, and lots of protein. Texture wise, is I say a blended chunky. Adults would cringe... but a toothless 11 month old wouldn't have that option. Sadly, my own toddler is extremely picky and wouldn’t touch it. (I saw that coming, it is my kid after all). Every kid is different, my kid hardly eats anything - yet I know my sister's kid is totally into it.Overall, the ingredients look solid, and I appreciate companies trying to offer more than just sweet fruit blends that are too sickening sweet. It fills a niche and I do want more kids (before 18 months) to develop wider profile flavors. There’s research showing that early exposure can make a real difference in reducing picky eating later on.

When I ordered these and looked at the flavors and the name of the brand, I was SO EXCITED because I had a feeling that the product was halal! I ordered them so fast I had to go back and read the item description which doesn't state that the product is halal... and I was super bummed out. When they arrived I was inspecting the packages and reading over the label, and low and behold, there it was! The certification!!! This is so incredibly important to me raising our daughter in our Muslim family, I want to make sure she can had easy on-the-go foods even though I make most of her meals myself. Having an option for Halal baby food, from a small women-owned business is a HUGE win for me as a consumer. Love love LOVE it.My daughter was so excited to try these, and her favorites are definitely the Beef Shawarma and the Curry with Chicken. The pouches are very large and save well in the fridge as she's not big enough to go through a whole one in a day yet. I tasted all of the flavors and was most intrigued by the Jerk Chicken. I'm really glad to have something that's not limited to being purely vegetarian. Girl's gotta get her protein and it can't all be from plants (and I can't cook all the time!)So if you're reading this feedback as a business, PLEASE UPDATE to show that your products are Halal. I know many others would be just as elated to discover them as I was. 5/5 would recommend!!!
