Much better than expected. Have already used 2 times since purchasing a week ago and works very well. Easy to disassemble once you get use to the reverse thread on the nut holding everything together. Also, the base fastens very securely to my countertop with just the suction cup. Would recommend buying for someone that wants a light use meat grinder.

I wanted to ground beef more fat that I can buy but was not easy. I find that for the price is a good choice.

Good product very easy to use. Quality better than I expected. Heavy plastic pieces, ground meat just fine and not too much trouble to clean. Worth the money for sure. It also stuck to formica counter just fine with no need for the clamp. (Maybe the granite counter doesn't work as well as per other reviews) My old counter top was a plus☺ this time!

Great product so far but missing the coarse blade and table clamp. Showed up already put together minus the handle so not sure if it is used

I really like this nice little meat grinder. It is super light and easy to use and clean. You have to recognize its limitations and not expect it to perform like a 20 pound cast iron and steel meat grinder though, you can easily buy a huge cast iron meat grinder at a garage sale for $10 for all the times when you need one to grind whole chickens or whatever and save this one for the 99% of the time grinding tasks.If you use it to freshly grind a piece of beef shoulder roast or some pork loin or shoulder into hamburger and make some nice hamburger patties you will be delighted with the results. Same if you make a batch of meatballs or sausage. No bought hamburger comes close even though it is more expensive.

It's so nice to order something and have it perform as advertised. This little grinder does just that. It's mostly plastic, but it doesn't feel flimsy. It was easy to put together. The only difficulty I had was trying to use the suction to hold it in place on the tabletop. Didn't work. Then I used the clamp that came with the unit and I was off to the meat grinding races! I ground up the end pieces from a big beef tenderloin and some boneless short ribs for what I'm pretty sure are going to be the best sliders I ever put in my mouth. I used the finer grind plate and it was the perfect consistency for little smash burgers. One thing I really enjoyed was that, unlike the old-fashioned metal grinders, you can see what's going on in the forcing tube because it's clear plastic. When I was finished grinding the beef, I used my mom's old trick of grinding a couple pieces of stale bread to help clean things out. Worked great. I think the metal parts are dishwasher safe but I just took it all apart, chucked everything right into a sink full of hot soapy water, let it soak for a few minutes and it cleaned up easily. Don't let it sit on the counter when it's dirty; I think that would make cleanup harder. Even though the suction didn't work, I give it 5 stars because the included clamp did the trick. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend this item for the home cook.

I really wanted to buy a cast iron meat grinder ... but so many bad reviews and/or super expensive.Almost all meat grinders out there today seem to be electric. I absolutely wanted the old school, manual meat grinder.So as an alternative, I fell on this plastic one, wich seemed to have great reviews. For the price it was worth trying it (at least as a backup meat grinder).When I used it (about three times now), I was really pleasantly surprised! Made of plastic, but it has a really strong feel to it. Will it last, I think/hope so, time will tell (I will update if something breaks).As a plan B, a backup meat grinder, an alternative, or temporary solution ... definately do recommend to anyone!

I’m an Amazon review snob. Good reviews can sometimes sound too good, but I often dismiss bad reviews, especially if they’re poorly composed and smattered with typos and misspellings. I tend to assume the reviewer was too dumb to read the product instructions, or was a clod otherwise. The box arrived - all ripped at the top and taped back together with packing tape. This had me worrying that they sent me previously returned garbage. Well, I have to admit, I was at first very impressed and pleasantly surprised with this grinder. All the parts were there, despite the damaged package, and it didn’t seem used at all. It was easy to put together, and the instructions, though clearly foreign, were simple and easy to understand. I liked the multi-function use of the plunger which also serves to unscrew the big lugnut. Pretty cool. I began grinding chicken chunks and all was going well - the crank turned easily and the suction to my countertop was strong, I didn’t even need the extra metal brace - when suddenly, the handle stopped turning and was completely stuck. I couldn’t move it in either direction. I began taking the components apart so I could see what might be causing the jam, when I noticed little white shreds of plastic sprinkled all over the chicken in the clear part of the grinder. The good news is, I had already successfully ground up most of the chicken, and no plastic got into the bowl. It did work really well… at first. The bad news is, this grinder is indeed junk. I can’t remove the white plastic turning mechanism, it’s really lodged in there. I am returning the product for a refund, but since I can’t get that turning mechanism out to clean it, they are getting it back with chunks of raw chicken still stuck inside.

I purchased a large beef brisket at a really good price considering what beef is going for these days. There's just the 2 of us and I thought I could grind the beef up for hamburgers. I cut the beef up into manageable servings then froze it for when I needed it. I purchased this grinder to do the job and I'm pretty happy with the results. After the first try of grinding 1-1/2 lbs of brisket, I discovered I needed to trim off the grizzly membrane before cubing it up for the grinder. Better cuts of meat won't have this problem, but brisket does. I saw a video showing how a professional grinder will take just about anything on a brisket and grind it, but this little hand crank is a bit more fussy and will jam up with the grizzle winding around the entire cutting mechanism. That was a pain to clean out. I also need to back track the crank to dislodge meat occasionally and that is also due to the tougher texture of meat going through. I only use the wider hole attachment because the meat would virtually turn to mush with the one with smaller holes. Today was the second time I used it and after incorporating all my tips, it went very smoothly and quick. I wouldn't use it if I were grinding an entire side of beef, but for small quantities like 1-2 lbs of meat, it's sure worth it. Clean up is a breeze but you need a spongy bottle washer to get inside the tube. I like it and recommend for meat grinding. I'm anxious to try the cookie attachment and to try some soft nut grinding for the holidays. On a personal note, it brings back a fond memory of me cranking the handle of my mom's meat grinder when I was little. That's right . . . I'm that old. BTW the brisket burgers are deeeeeeelicious!

Absolutely love this meat grinder. Super easy to assemble and equally easy to clean. And freshly ground beef is unbeatable!!! 100% recommend it.
