The OLED is absolutely amazing and quiet frankly on par with the 65" C3 I have upstairs. I'm using this as a monitor for work/gaming and it blows my other set up (LG 27G850 x2) out of the water in terms of color reproduction and the inky blacks! HOWEVER my only complaint and reason why I deducted 1 star is the overly aggressive Anti-Dimming technology. The current webOS version patched the service remote method of disabling TPC and GSR from the advanced menu so the only option is to install a github app called ColorControl OR LG TV Companion (which makes the service remote obsolete). Having to install a 3rd party app - which was probably created out of hatred - is unfortunate to achieve what the panel is capabale of. I understand OLED burn in so leave the option up to me and not force me to take alternative routes.Other than the auto dimming being inaccessible out of the box - it doesn't overshadow the vibrant colors and inky blacks it is capable of producing.

This is truly an exquisite television. The OLED system is one of the best on the market. The colors are incredible and the blacks are BLACK. We purchased a non-OLED tv for about half the price of this one, but the quality simply wasn't there. We returned it and ordered this one and are completely satisfied. Definitely worth the investment if you watch a lot of television.

This TV is special. In fact, every OLED tv that I’ve come across is special in that the black levels are so incredibly inky-black and this LG B4 is no different. The model letter denotes the level of TV (higher the better, generally) and the number is the year, so this would be 2024’s model. I can directly compare this to the C4 and I’ll say the picture quality is slightly less distinct but it’s still amazing. It’s a lot brighter than my B8 that I had for over 5 years, one that didn’t have any burn in but it did have some dead pixels around the outside edge. They updated the software for a long time and still update the apps, which gives me a lot of confidence in this TV’s longevity. Some other TV’s don’t update apps to keep them running smoothly for as long (looking at you Sony) but the OS is amazing. The web browser is outstanding and it blocks a good number of ads that pop up natively. There is so much to love about this TV if you can find it for a good value. What I love:120 Hz native refresh panel that appears to go to 144 for variable refresh. This is outstanding for gamingInput lag is RIDICULOUSLY low (again, great for gaming)Beautiful picture out of the box, pretty calibratedLots of options for picture quality, including an AI option to adjust it based on some pictures you like. Cool setupThe Operating System (OS). So easy to use, laid out smartly, so many options for entertainment whether it’s LG channels to watch tons of content or use the included web browser for a LOT more options. So many options to adjust the picture. Lots of control and advanced options. The magic remote pointer is so helpful and great to use.Setup was a snap, super easy and I’m getting used to it a lot more than some other brands.Color…this TV has some amazing color and the picture pops. It’s beautiful, simply beautiful and I enjoy watching tv just to see how great it looks. It’s spoiled me when watching in other places, however.2.1 HDMI ports, all 4 are that new standard and can do 4K at 60Hz. Awesome valueThings I’m not sure about:The stand is made of 2 parts and it’s seemingly got some options regarding how it’s set up (but I mounted mine). You used to be able to bring up an app menu while still watching content. Now you have to go to the Home Screen. A minor annoyance.Things I do not like:The new remote doesn’t stand up like the old one. I LOVED that. It took up a lot less space but I get why they did it.They removed the play and pause buttons from the remote and it’s just got the wheel to pause and play. I get why they did it but I preferred a pause/play button.2 out of the 4 HDMI ports are on the back. This is fine for putting the TV on the stand but it’s an awful design for mounting it on the wall. The C4 does not have this issue as all 4 are on the side. This is a great quality TV, it’s got good sound, seamless wifi, and all of the above.Overall, I think this is an amazing TV and it’s their new “entry level” OLED but it’s nowhere near an entry level TV. It’s absolutely amazing if you like deep blacks, the lack of blooming, saving some electricity (individual pixels turn off to make black, unlike traditional or QLED TV’s), love variable refresh rates, low lag for gaming, and want a beautifully operational OS, this is an excellent choice. The B4 and C4 (and even the B8 for that matter) are gorgeous and I’ll never go back to non-OLED if I can ever avoid it. Highly recommend, 9.5 out of 10.

This is my first OLED TV and I almost didn't buy it because of all the "entry level" chatter. I watched a few detailed reviews though and they all said the same things, which is that the TV is awesome, but there are others that are extra awesome and a lot of extra money. I am so glad I went with this. For starters, the picture is flat out sick. I cannot believe the difference between this and my other non-OLED 4k TVs. I am going to wind up going broke replacing them. The blacks and darker scenes are so crystal clear and perfect, no ghosting, no scaling, it is just perfect. What really knocked my socks off though were the 2 things that people were lukewarm on, and that is the sound and the remote.I included the pic to show the size of the room. I am standing 10 feet behind the sofa. This is an open floor plan with a bigger space than the picture shows and this TV fills not only the room, but the entire first floor and then some. The AI sound feature absolutely rocks! I swear it is equal to my Sonos Play 5. You can google cast to the TV too which is great. As for the remote, it is awesome. Sometimes the pointer is nice, but if you don't like it just don't activate it. The modes are seamless. Voice activation is great and you can search inside apps, not just outside. It has good weight and feels nice in hand. Total winner.LG Web OS is super fast and easy to customize. The LG Thin Q app is also nice and double as a remote. Setup was simple. I just don't know how anyone could not be happy with this TV.

Beats the socks off my Oder 10 year old LED top of line tv in the day. Only reason I upgraded is that my eyes needed upgraded too. Much more visible and larger picture, backlight viewing is incredible! The Dolby Vision/Atmos effect is awesome! Looking forward to watching sports in 4k. I haven’t even touched the surface on what this thing can do, but I will soon. Love the five year software updates it receives, one of the main reasons I bought it. Super easy to wall install using my 15 year old universal wall mounts but needs two people to carefully hang it. Lightweight and amazing to get this kind of picture with such a thin screen? Sound is pretty good, still would be better with a theater addition soundbar or theater surround system that I already have I just haven’t hooked it all up yet.
