It worked, got my lexmark cs410dn printing wirelessly. Exactly what it is supposed to do. Instructions were less than clear.

This little kit contained the adapter and two different mounting brackets and two cables. The instructions were clear enough. All we had to do was select the correct bracket for our printer model, attach it and mount the adapter, then connect the cable. Our printer almost immediately showed up as available on our home network, and we could prin to it right away. If you have one of the supported Lexmark printers and a home WiFi network, this is all you need to make it wireless.

Installed this on a Lexmark CX417DE that had optional WiFi capability. After reading the reviews I admit to being somewhat concerned about installing. I am tech competent but not an IT expert by any means. Nothing involved was technically that challenging but Lexmark is painfully light on providing good directions for their products and upgrades.1) upgrade to the latest firmware before you do anything else. Loading in on a flashdrive and using the printers USB port was the simplest way to accomplish that.2) the hardware install was quite simple and fortunately not hard to figure out without much in the way of directions. It took more pressure than I expected to have to use to insert the adapter into it's slot in the printer3) make sure you use the correct connector cable, there are 2 and one is marked for use only with a certain Lexmark model although they look identical4) This printer is equipped with a settings menu that generally is easy to follow if you are familiar with basic wireless network terms5) I wanted compatibility for IPAD/IPHONE airprint that required the installation of a separate app download to those the Apple Products.I have not completed adding wireless connectivity from my other network laptops which are all windows 10. My initial try shows that it is going to take more than a simple add printer/device approach.As for the Apple connections, with the app installed it is terrific. You don't really Airprint, the Lexmark Print app adds a Lexmark Print to your Printer selections once you set it up and it is seamless to print using that as the printer selection after that.

Top pour ma CX410DETout simplement génial, j ai investi dans ce serveur d impression de marque lexmark pour mon imprimante lexmark cx410de.L’installation s est faite très rapidement grâce au manuel fourni avec le serveur. Cela m’aura pris que 10 minutes (voir instructions fin dd commentaire)Personnellement je tourne avec un ordinateur Macintosh. L’installation a été là encore tres rapide. Le plus c est que lorsque mon iphone est branché sur le reseau wifi de l’imprimante je peux même imprimer depuis mon téléphone. Je ne vois honnêtement aucun point négatif.Mon serveur aura été pris d’occasion sur amazon (en réalité je pense que c est un neuf dans un emballage endommagé) il m’aura coûté 33€, soit même pas le prix d’un serveur d’impression d’une autre marque avec le gros avantage qu’il est prévu pour et par la marque de mon imprimante.Instruction installation serveur (cx410de):- brancher le serveur au port usb situé derrière l’imprimante ;- cliquer sur la petite clé paramètres ;- cliquer sur reseau/ports ;- verifier sur carte reseau active que vous etes sur le reseau du serveur (pour moi reseau 1) ;- cliquer sur reseau 1 ;- cliquer sur configuration reseau 1 ;- verifier la connexion sans fil.Voila la configuration est déjà terminée.N’hésitez pas a indiquer que mon commentaire est utile s’il vous a aidé

I received the product quickly in good condition, when I opened it the instructions were clear enough for me to install it in about 2 min top. It's my first real printer and I've never been good with the one I've had to work with but this was simple enough. The only thing that I wish was a part of the package is instructions about how to pair it with your computer completely. The app instruction were nice but I mean the app is self explanatory, creating a network for a computer is a different thing and I still havent fully figured it out yet. But exept for that if you know what you are doing and simply need the hardwear this will work GREAT!

Buying the lexmark MX317dn printer was a mistake because it did not do wireless printing. I bought this kit to add wifi printing. After two days of trying to figure out their confusing instructions I called support for assistance. We got it going, but it's definitely not what you expect from wireless, airprint printing. Be aware when you buy this kit.

Purchased this for a 610DN. Installs in less than a minute and the printer firmware recognized it and simply asked for the wifi password. Works well!
