This is a really nice product, and I like this brand overall. The humidifier works quite well, and I like the operation of the auto mode. It turns the unit on and off at +/-5% of the set point so it doesn't constantly turn off/on like other units might, and automatically controls the mist level with 2 speeds. It's very quiet when operating. The VeSync app, surprisingly, is great. It does everything I would want it to do, including timers and scheduled operation, within the app I already use for my Levoit air filter.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 solely because the power cord is not detachable from the base. It's hardwired. It's recommended that you empty the tank and base of extra water and clean them every day. However, the base power cord isn't detachable and if you need to move it to a sink to empty (daily!) or clean, you have to unplug the unit from the wall outlet. This is a huge design oversight that has me nearly deciding to return an otherwise great product.

I've been using it almost every night for the past year, and I'm very happy with it. In Stockholm's dry weather, it's almost impossible to breathe properly without it.

Silent! Effective! Easy to fill! Uses iPad and iPhone to control, turn off and on, measure the moisture level in the room. Smart device. Surprised at how easy set up is. Compact device, sits on night table with lamp.

I have used several other humidifier brands but this one is the best so far. I don't use the app function, but the simple touch controls are all I need. I either leave it on high or shut it off. When empty it shuts off automatically. The unit produces generous and steady moisture without leaving a deposit or puddle on nearby floors as some other brands might do. At highest output it lasts about 8 or 9 hours before a refill is needed. You can aim the moisture stream easily,, but mostly upward rather than horizontally. It is very quiet and easy to refill. The 3 liter size is just the right weight when carrying it from carry from the sink when refilled (remember to also empty out the base with each refilling of the top portion). Be advised that since it is a cool mist humidifier it does slightly cool off the nearby air. While this is welcome in dry overheated environments (or apartments), on the other hand it may feel a bit “cool” abd clammy if your environment is cool and dry to begin with (there are other types of humidifiers for that situation). The unit is best for smaller rooms, not for large or very open areas. Unlike many other brands it is much easier to clean, and cleaning is needed much less frequently (i.e. using a diluted vinegar solution once in a while). The users who :complain: about some of the parts in the bottom impeding thorough cleaning should try other brands to see how good this one is in comparison. I have found that despite using regular NYC tap water, so far there is none of the slime deposit or odor that I have found with other humidifier brands using the very same NYC tap water. Granted that the filter just a small piece of plastic foam-like material, the unit does come witd a small filter already installed (you turn a small white “knob" in the base bottom to acces and re[lace it). A second spare filter comes with the unit -with replacements available at very low price from Amazon. The unit is very sturdy and well made (especially the top water container), and not subject to easy breakage. I like very much that you can easily detach the bottom base from the electric cord without unplugging it That makes it simple to also empty out the base of any accumulated water when refilling the top vessel, and of course in cleaning it when necessary (just wipe with viagar) . If you have small children or pets place it away from where they may tip over the top tank (which just rests on the base and is not attached). The one possible negative I see is that the electric cord is very thin (I don't see a “UL” certification I guess that is rare nowadays). With the two units that I purchased both mildly heat up at top of the relatively large plastic plug (it's about 1inch x 2.5 inches in size). Since both units I purchased do the same, I assume it is not a malfunction of some sort (the unit itself has no parts that heat up). I am very pleased with this product so far and I hope that it continues to work well. It’s worth the investment.

1. Super quiet - REALLY! (Compared to two other brands/models I purchased, this one beat them both by far in terms of overall noise level--I can hardly hear it while it's on/running!)2. Works as advertised; Smart features via the app are easy to set up and use, including daily, weekly, or just weekends on/off scheduling (you pick the day[s] and time frames[s]). The one-time timer feature is also a nice touch (e.g., auto on or off in minutes or up to 24 hours). Can also turn off the digital display while it's on/running. Also love the graph report on the app as to how much humidity is currently in the room and how the unit regulates the humidity based on the setting you've chosen.3. Very easy to fill and clean; best to use distilled (or very well filtered) water. However, I have not used the aromatherapy feature (putting drops directly into the bottom tank worries me about how easy that would be to clean after use).4. The Auto setting is a nice touch since it doesn't always stay on constantly (unless, of course, it needs to) and therefore saves water. So far I'm pleasantly surprised by how long the less than 1 gallon tank lasts when filled to the Max level. Low and High settings are also available if you want/need constant humidity.5. Third-party voice control (Alexa or Hey Google) is a nice touch too.6. Sturdy and nicely well-built.
