Actually the right color and head width to be a perfect match. Too many of the cheaper ones have small heads.

These 5/16 screws are a little shorter (1/16) than most cover plate screws (3/8). They work well for the decora style switch and receptacle covers. They may be too short for regular cover plates.

I had some light switches in a bathroom where the wall plate screws were dirty and corroded over the years. These replacement screws fit right in and are as beautiful as when the switch was installed. They fit perfectly.That was 6 screws, and now I had 14 left. I went around the house to replace other screws that were damaged or missing. I still have a few left over.There are some screws that are physically ok, and only the paint is chipped. In the past, I would've pressed them into a scrap cardboard then spray paint the tops. It's just so easy to replace with these new ones. I have however, saved the old screws so that I can paint them in the future and use them for spares.

These replacement screws are for Decora type wall plates only!Sometimes the wall plate is good, but the screws are dirty or chipped. Put a new screw in. Job done!Mine seem to be excellent quality in all respects. They arrived in good, standard packaging.

These little screws are perfect replacement for the little tiny screws the outlet covers and switch plate covers come with. I lost so many of the screws while I was removing the covers to paint my house so everywhere you look in every room, lots of little screws were missing from the covers. I finally found some after checking hardware stores in the area, I found them on Amazon. Now I have plenty for the next time I am painting and removing plate covers and losing the screws. I was so happy to finally make everything look finished with replacing those screws with the ones I bought on Amazon.
