Best made Levi's we've found. Bought as a birthday gift for someone who has worn only Levi's for 50+ years. He has been looking these over for an hour and keeps saying wonderful things about them "definitely exceptional quality, they even have they double stitching, the original four rivets on the pockets etc." I'm thrilled he is so happy. They fit perfectly and he looks great in them :) It is rare for this guy of mine to rave about anything.

This is my final brand and style for jeans (517-Bootcut). It's rarely available these days, so I had to get it from US.

This company is fast with shipping. Very true to size. The quality is great the durability is perfect and have had no issues with holding up. These jeans are not stretchy.

The 517 are the best general wear jeans Levis makes in my opinion. There are probably better jeans for working construction and such but these fit like jeans should and are very comfortable and look very nice.

It’s great that Levi’s produces jeans in inseam and waist in 1” increment.Waist / Length: The 1 inch increment in inseam makes length of the jeans perfect. Making how the jeans falls just perfect for each individual, without the need to fold it, alter it. This is genius @ Levi’s to produce jeans in 1” increments both for waist and inseam; others should follow. If you are 5.7 height, athletic/Avg. built consider 32 waist x 29 length.Fabric : Fabric is good quality, I prefer non stretch classic denim. It’s sturdy, I have seen better fabric from Levi’s though. Fabric will last you approx 2 years as the fabric of Levi’s jeans starts to weather due to friction around the under crotch area around 1 year /1.5 years into use. The fabric is comfortable, pleasant, thickness is medium. Fabric does shrink about an 1”.Color : Lastly it’s unfortunate they charge 20% extra for Black, and Indigo color. Lastly Rigid is not even available in 32x29. Color lightly fades over time.Price: Considering the durability, longevity, quality of fabric the right price point for these jeans is about $40 USD for a pair of jeans, anything above makes it pricey as these are not the jeans that will last you more than 1.5/2 years; and they don’t have the same quality when weathered as vintage jeans which had better fabric. But over all good fit decent I have been wearing these 517 jeans for now over 5/6 years replacing them at about 1.5/2 year mark.

For years I wore the same jeans to work. Wrangler 34x34 boot cut. Over the years they fit a little different but they worked well and fit somewhat the same every time. When they changed to flex denim I quite buying them. I hated the feel they felt baggy loose and low quality. I bought some Arizona jeans a few years back that worked great but could hit the time to buy more cause they were out of stock. So in come Amazon.Tailored I'm a 33x33 so for years I've bought 34x34 because that's the most common size for your average guy. These fit great. They might be a little tight in the crotch area but with a few washes and any 100% denim will stretch a bit they're fine. We also don't dry out jeans and hang them up inside to dry so that will help with them shrinking. The rigid is a raw denim as they say and it's not been washed. I work a factory so that's perfect, they feel tuff and industrial and seem like they will last a long time. They are dark in color they will bleed in the wash so beware of that. I would soak them a few times before washing and be sure to keep whites out. You also have to be careful of streaks. Like detergent getting on it and they having some discoloration from that. Not a big deal for me but if you want them as dress up jeans I would pull them inside out as the wash instructions say to try and prevent that.I did buy some of these in the rinse color from a local store. They are the same color and fit exactly the same but they are washed once before they are sold. So if you don't want that stiff raw denim just get the "rinse" color. In all they fit exactly the same because you will wash the rigid and will be become rinsed so to speak. In all I hope that they don't change these jeans. It's kinda hard to find 100% cotton denim. I just don't like the flex and blended denims and just want stick to one size and one brand. I did buy there 527 bootcut and they are nice too but the denim is much thinner. I bought those for my non-work jeans. These 517's seem like good work jeans that hopefully will last a while.

Nice Jean's, I had a pair of 33inch 527s but sent them back as the fit was too low and tight, these are very different. I wear a belt with them and find them very comfortable. The leg length is perfect when wearing boots but a bit long when barefoot so I turn them up at home.
