LEVEL5’s line of drywall skimming blades offer outstanding quality, performance and features. They move mud effortlessly and with high sensitivity, enabling finishers to complete their jobs efficiently with consistent, professional results.
What sets LEVEL5's skimming blades apart is their ultra-lightweight design. Drywall compound smoothing is a finesse game and the skimming blades, extendable handles and handle adapter in this tool line have been specifically developed and refined through years of feedback from professional finishers.
SUGGESTED USES
Available in eight lengths, there’s a LEVEL5 skimming blade for every drywall finishing job:
- 7-inch, 10-inch or 14-Inch blades are often used for bedding and wiping down drywall tape after the tape has been applied by hand or using an automatic taper or banjo.
- When finishing butt joints or slightly wider areas, 16-Inch, 24-Inch or 32-Inch skimming blades are ideal and will get the job faster vs. smaller trowels or finishing knife.
- 40-Inch or 48-Inch skimming blades are perfect for smoothing larger areas. Typical examples would include when you spray or roll on compound and smooth to a level 5 finish, or when you are covering up textured ceilings and walls.

LEVEL5 Skimming Blades feature aircraft-grade, extruded aluminum housings for maximum rigidity across the blade span.
Extra Reach with an Optional Handle Adapter and One of Three Handle Options
Manufactured using premium fiberglass, aluminum, and high impact ABS composite, LEVEL5's line of skimming blade handles are extremely lightweight yet robust and rigid - even when fully extended.
The Blade Inserts are Replaceable!
LEVEL5 Skimming Blades feature blade inserts that are easily replaceable if damaged or worn. This means the tool can be renewed at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole blade.

I have finished drywall for a long time and I can say these are worth every penny. I have the 10, 16,24 and 32 inch. They make finishing so much easier. I put mud on with my regular 10, width depending on the joint, then clean the edges and level 5 them. DONE, barely any sanding. I can get away with 2 coats now, 1 hot mud then top with blue lid.
