I did a 40 mile backpacking trip recently wearing sandals for 3 out of 4 days. This tape worked miracles on the hot spots I got from the hiking shoes that got wet during water crossings. It is extremely sticky. When you first start using it, you will find that the adhesive is actually bleeding through the tape. This caused a problem with the tape rolling while wearing sandals but not with shoes. As more of the product is used from the roll, the adhesive stops “bleeding” and can be used successfully with whatever you wear..I highly recommend any hiker take some of this product with them on every hike.

The best climbing tape! Very sticky. Only downside is sometimes it is difficult to remove after a session but I would rather that than changing tape multiple times a session. Pretty easy to rip. Great value and does not move while climbing.

I read about Leukotape on a hiking website so I ordered one to take with me for my almost 40km hike. I started having blisters halfway into the hike, so I slapped a few on my feet and they didn't move one bit. Amazing product, I will always bring them with me. They stick very well and are made from natural products. Highly recommended

Always use this to protect my toes on long hikes, very comfortable and long-wear. Also used for strapping to support plantar fasciitis, very good stuff.

I had been searching a long time for a solution for getting blisters on my heels repeatedly, after trying many different kinds of socks and going through so many XL bandaids... I have one foot slightly smaller than the other so no matter how well the shoes fit I always get them on one or the other foot. But this tape stopped them! It sticks well after heat activates the adhesive & will last a few days/through a shower, and through multiple walks. I saw a recommendation to put it on wax or parchment paper and cut them into individual strips with rounded corners to put into a pack without having to carry the whole roll. Haven't had any problems (yet) with them sticking to my socks but I read you can put Joshua Tree Climbing Salve over top of them to prevent that. After wearing for a while the adhesive is bonded really well and a bit hard to get off but eases up after a shower. Just make sure you use it *before* a blister forms!

I recently started using BSN Medical Sports Tape, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. As someone who leads an active lifestyle, I have tried various sports tapes in the past, but this one truly stands out for its outstanding performance. The first thing I noticed was how easy it is to apply. The tape adheres perfectly to my skin without causing any discomfort or irritation. It's incredibly flexible, allowing me to move freely during my workouts and outdoor activities. Plus, it doesn't lose its stickiness even when I'm sweating profusely, which is a big win for me!But what truly sets BSN Medical Sports Tape apart is its remarkable support. Whether I'm dealing with a minor sprain, muscle soreness, or simply need extra reinforcement during a rigorous workout, this tape provides exceptional support. It helps stabilize my joints and muscles, reducing the risk of injuries and allowing me to perform at my best. What I appreciate the most about this tape is its durability. I can wear it for an extended period without worrying about it coming loose or losing its effectiveness. This means I can confidently wear it throughout the day or during long hikes without any issues. The quality of BSN Medical Sports Tape is top-notch, and it has become an essential part of my active lifestyle toolkit. It's reliable, comfortable, and incredibly effective in providing the support I need to stay on top of my game. I highly recommend it to fellow athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone in need of reliable sports tape. BSN Medical has truly nailed it with this product!

This tape is simply amazing, I do a lot of hiking and in certain situations get a blister, the same spots every time I get them, I saw this tape talked bout in more than one hiking articles I’ve seen online and thought I’d give it a try, I’m glad it did. I’ve not had a blister or hotspot since doing so. Not only did it prevent blisters, but, it stays exactly where I put it and does not come off until I remove it. Simply put, it works flawlessly. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. I cut strips and put it on wax paper and put it in my small medical kit in my backpack so I don’t need to carry the entire roll. I put small strip on the back of my ankles every time I go on a hike, whether I need it or not as a preventative measure and will continue to do so, it’s not fun to be sidelined with blisters when I could be hiking! It’s a must-have for me, and should be for you too if you hike.

CONS: Nearly impossible to tear/cut without scissors.PROS: Great tool for first aid kids and trainers' bags. Sticks well. Does not slide around. Sticks even when wet.I first heard about this stuff in my Sports Injury Prevention class, but I forgot about it before ever buying any. Then I heard it mentioned on a YouTube video as a great alternative to moleskin, especially for through-hikers. That was when I ordered a roll.It is sort of like a fabric duct tape that sticks really well to skin. You can place it over a blister, and it effectively removes the friction and stops the irritation. Since it sticks well, even to damp skin, sweaty feet are no problem for it. It even stays on through a shower or two as long as you do not tug on it.My biggest peeve is that it is so tough to cut. I nicked myself on a camping trip, so I tried to cut off a piece of the tape to cover my boo-boo. I only had my pocket knife on me. As I tried to cut off a piece of the tape, the adhesive caught my knife blade and then the knife slipped. Now I had two injuries to attend to. Even with blood dripping onto my knife, I was able to finish cutting off (now two) pieces of the tape. I wrapped the tape directly over the bleeding wound (after cleaning it), and it did a nice job of staunching the bleeding. After about an hour, I replaced the blood-soaked piece with a fresh one (being much more careful in how I cut the new piece), and removing the tape did not cause the cut to start bleeding again, and even though it had been bleeding when it wrapped the tape around my finger, it still held quite well. I don't think that this was ever an intended or advertised use, but it makes a great tool to have in a survival kit. Now, I just cut off 1.5" pieces of the tape, roll them into a tiny roll, and stick them in my kits. The tape unpeels from itself pretty easily, and I don't have to worry about cutting the pieces while under stress. I also keep the big roll AND a pair of scissors in my big first aid kit to restock or for larger jobs.
