Incredibly cheap and decently built.Most important detractor: The need to click through 5 different beam modes each time you turn the light on. I'm guessing this is why they are so cheap.The 18650 mode of the flashlight works really well, nice to be able to use large rechargeable batteries.Quite bright.Overall a flawed flashlight, but for under $4 each these are a steal.

Used this bright flashlight for night it arrived! When neighbor saw it, neighbor said, those flashlights are great!We were able to walk around large yard with it, adjust it to focus farther away, or light up whole area around self while walking. (Scouting yard to make sure things are OK while on vigilant watch for critters.)This flashlight is so strong, can look out window at night and scan yard perimeter over 1/4 acre away.Adjustment is just a fast push or pull (which is faster than rotating the outer cover, like many flashlights.)We like getting a battery flashlight, just in case power is off for extended time period.

First: these look almost exactly like the Gearlight. But they are not the same, which one might suspect from the $10 vs. $4 pricing.To begin with, it isn't quite as bright. Bright enough for most normal uses, I guess, but it is something to be noted.That said, the 'spotlight' mode is actually superior. When set to a focused beam, the Gearlight pattern takes the shape of its LED... square, and with grid lines plainly visible (as is common with cheap flashlights). This light, however, has a nice, even round spot with no discontinuities in it.However, far and away the most annoying thing is the way the 5 light modes are handled. Both cycle through high/medium/low/strobe/SOS modes. The Gearlight always reverts to the 1st mode once it has been turned off for more than about 5 seconds, which largely mitigates the annoyance of so many modes. THIS light, however, doesn't do that. It always picks up where you left off: if you need a bright light, for example, every time you turn it off and on again you'll need to cycle the button 4 times to get back to it. Granted: you can do this by tapping the button without clicking it, but it's still a pain.If it wasn't for this, it would definitely get a "5".

I thought at first the square light would not work for pre operation inspections in a food processing plant. I was wrong it works well if not quite as effective as my last flashlight. Batteries last approximately 6.5 hours before replacement needed. Water proofing excellent I wear it in a holster using high pressure water and it gets soaked. Dropped countless times and still working and using first one. Cant beat the price for what you get.

It's an excellent flashlight, an amazing product which doesn't lose its brightness the longer you use it. You have the ability to intensify the light as it provides the Zoom capability.It uses 3 AAA batteries or you can use single 18650 rechargeable battery. The zoom in for more light in a particular area or you can zoom out for more light in a farther distance. Zoon functionality is an innovative idea and is cool thing to have.Use this compact flash light where ever you need it. The design and construction of the light is rigid and built with quality. I love the most about it is that the fact it is water proof. Overall the light is awesome and I love it.
