Note:
If you want to mount a solar post light on a 4"x4" vinyl/wooden post, you will need to use a pen (or other small hard objects), align the quill with any of the screw holes on either side of the solar light, and press down to remove the largest base.

Placed atop our newly installed white vinyl fence over the summer. It instantly added a "magical" charm to the yard! Every evening I was delighted to look out and see the 36 lights all lit. It is now the dead of winter and I am happy to say they ALL still light up when the sun goes down. I live in snow country up north so the short days and snow cover do effect the length of time the lights stay lit. Over the summer when days are longer and sunshine is brighter, the lights were still lit at 4am. Now that it is winter and the batteries don't get to charge as much the lights don't stay lit as long, but they ALL do light when the sun goes down. On sunnier days they do light for a longer period of time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this purchase and I would purchase again!!!

I LOVE THESE- THEY ARE SO BRIGHT AND STAY ON FOREVER- AND BELIEVE THIS! WE HAD A BIG FULL MOON AND I GOT UP EARLY AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING TO LET THE DOG OUT AND THEY WERE STILL LIT UP!! HAD TO HAVE BEEN CHARGED BY JUST THE FULL MOON ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!! I TRULY RECOMMEND THESE.....

We bought the lights for our new deck thinking that it was going to be really nice at night when we are hanging out on the deck. Majority of the lights that came with the package do not work and if they do work, they don’t work for long. We would have returned it but didn’t realize this was happening since we were doing other projects inside the house and the time frame expired to return it.

I ordered these to install on two 4x4 posts with plastic sleeves. The lights come with adapters to fit various post sizes, and mine were a perfect fit. I only needed two lights, but it was cheaper to buy this set of 8 versus two at the local big-box store.

Pros: They look very nice and added a nice light to the fence that is very pleasing. The light sensor works very well and turn on and off at exactly the right times. Overall I am very happy.Con’s: Only problem I see with this is the water resistance factor. After inspecting the item I don’t have very much confidence that this item could keep water out even in the lightest rain. Hopefully I am wrong, but time will tell. I feel if the plastic edge should be glued or have some gaskets. But they don’t have either.

They were easy to put in place ,fit perfect ,look great, didn’t have to screw them down they stayed on in heavy winds. Glad I got them.
