Place the slides and the main body into the bathtub to soak.
Clean the slides and tubing of your trumpet.
Clean the body of the trumpet.
Rinse your slides and trumpet body with warm water.
Dry your slides and trumpet body with a washcloth
Set the body and slides aside to air-dry.

Really glad we decided to check the valves on this as soon as it arrived. We would have had a disappointed kiddo as this was a present. One valve was stuck and no amount of valve oil was convincing it to move freely.Returned it and got a replacement. So far the replacement is working fine. And the kiddo is having fun making a lot of noise.

Not for professional use. Valves aren't very responsive, tone is so-so. But serves as an economical practice horn when on travel.

I got this for my son for school because this is the first year that he is able to play the trumpet. The teacher was impressed with the sound. Everyone in the class Loved it because it was blue and it was different.
