I bought this for my wife to use with her sewing machine. She likes it better than her Ott-lite. It's nice and bright, light weight, very adjustable and easy to move around so you can shine the light exactly where you need it.

I am a college student. I wanted a good lamp to sit on my desk and illuminate my notes and homework when I work in my room. I also wanted something to provide light when I do my nails or do DIY/hot glue crafts.This light is GREAT! By far the best $20-25 range lamp on Amazon currently, though it would still be worth it for $30. Issues with OTHER LAMPS for the same price:- not enough color modes- not bright/too short to illuminate desk- bad circuitry due to unnecessary use of USB portsThis light plugs into the wall with a normal outlet. My friend has had one for two years, my girlfriend and I each one year. They have all worked great! (We all got the white lamp, so I can't say anything about the black lamp). The stem can move enough to be up close to papers or higher up and illuminate the floor, or the wall, and the five light modes cover the whole range from "Sterile White" which is great for something I suppose, to "Warm Candlelight" which is great for reading at night and is nicer on your eyes. It also goes from AFTERIMAGE bright to rather dim.DISCLAIMER*There are no USB ports on this lamp anywhere! That is why it is good. Other lamps try to do too much and then risk electrical fires. This lamp does exactly what it should and does it very well. If you want USB ports, buy an Anker USB dual or quad block, they are meant for it and work amazingly!

Simple LED lamp, no USB ports, no Bluetooth, etc. I just needed a good light, and this lamp does just that.Has dim/bright controls and hue changing. Can go from a soft white to a bright LED. Controls are soft touch type, takes minimal effort to control. Arm and light adjust forward, backward and up and down. It also sits on a nicely weighted metal base. Solid construction and seems pretty durable.I use it in my garage on my workbench and it fits my use to a tee. Used it one night to help detail my truck and it worked perfectly. I appreciated this lamp so much, I bought another one for my home office. Worth every penny, IMHO.

I ended up really liking this lamp for its touch sensitive buttons and light softness setting. It can get really bright or just dim enough to still be able to read without creating glare on your pages. This isn't too heavy but it still stands sturdy and doesn't move from the slightest touch. Works great, well worth the cost.

Has a quality feel for a budget price. The buttons are all touch and on the base, which is what I wanted. The brightness range is good, I read comfortably on medium (of about 5) with a clear white light. It will stand straight up but the lower joint does not bend back, only forward. If it lasts I will replace all my lamps with these.

Bright to soft light, perfect for everything from reading and art projects to winding down at the end of the evening. It illuminates a large part of my desk but has a relatively small footprint, which is a good match for my setup.

This lamp is very bright with several brightness settings. It folds flat to save space when not in use. I had this for over a year when it stopped working. There was a short in the neck from being hyperextended. Customer service issued a replacement the same day free of charge a year after purchase! I was offered a refund or replacement but this lamp is perfect for my art projects so I wanted another.

The lamp itself is great it has nice functions, gets bright and a nice sleek design, but it creates a very high pitch sound that you can barely hear but when you do it is extremely annoying, especially if your younger. Overall though I am impressed of how bright it gets when you need it to.

This is a nice desk lamp that has a sleek contemporary look to it. The white colour works well with my white desktop and keyboard, and I like how easy the controls are to access and operate. I also like that it folds together so it would be easy, for example, to take the office if needed.There are two downsides: (1) the light does not dim very low, and (2) the lamp is not all that sturdy/stable. I have the lamp sitting on a side table beside my primary work surface and in that location it does not move much. However, it does wobble if I happen to move the side table, so I am sure it would move often if it was sitting on a main work surface.Also - although I cannot say this is a downside because I read this in the description and knew to expect this - the light itself does not turn from side to side. It would be great to have another model that offers this feature.I would say if you are looking for a sleek lamp that provides a normal-to-high amount of light, this would be a good choice. If, on the other hand, you are hoping for something that will give you a normal-to-low/ambient amount of light, I would look elsewhere.
