I needed to see where the cat pee smell was coming from in the foster cat room – this black light illuminated where it was so I could clean and disinfect the area. The handle strap is just the right size and quality seems durable.

The light works fine but it does not seem to pick up if any cat urine has ended up outside the back.

Shipping fast and arrived packaged good. I used this for 2 years before it finally died. I used it in hotel rooms and looking for hidden puppy accidents in my house. I will buy another one as a replacement

Ich nutze die Schwarzlichtlampe, um Katzenpipi zu finden, und sie funktioniert wirklich gut! Mit dem UV-Licht lässt sich Urin im Dunkeln leicht aufspüren, was besonders hilfreich ist, wenn man Stellen nicht sieht oder vermutet. Die Lampe ist einfach zu handhaben und liefert zuverlässig die gewünschten Ergebnisse. Ein praktisches Tool für Katzenbesitzer!

Battery life depends on the type of batteries you get, functionality is great for finding golf balls at night and to help recharge glow in the dark objects ,size is best for putting in pockets or bags ,supper light weight ,build quality is really good love everything about this product

Save your money. I got to use this twice, before it broke, tried 2 sets of new batteries. These things are meant to be disposable really.. like most of these cheap, poorly made chinese manufactured products... they want you to buy another of the same product.. but with this one, it couldn't even last for a few months before breaking. Unfortunately.. I did buy another one.. that's actually the one I am reviewing , this is the 2nd one I own, but this review is for the first one.. nonetheless, the same product. I only bought it again because I needed a blacklight, and I had an amazon credit. I've got some really cool and uv light, but i don't wanna bring it places where I know I'm gonna be in a questionable location. That is why I got this cheap one. But these things are basically meant to break after the return window, or maybe get you a little bit of use after it. The internal parts burn out or something. and it stops working.Surely there is another inexpensive uv light out there that isn't a total piece of garbage. Do your best to find it, because this one is total trash!

Sturdy tool, very bright, well made, perfect handheld size. Appreciate it only takes 3 AA batteries.Bought to find new puppy "sprinkles" on the carpet that we may have missed. This works perfectly for that duty! Note that it works a bit better on lighter surfaces than dark ones.Also, if you have even the slightest touch of OCD... do NOT and I repeat NOT illuminate this in a mens restroom with the door closed and the lights off. You may never recover.

Nicely made, not too heavy, have to turn off all other light to use, but then it works great for my purposes, (locating dog urine on my floors).

L'ho acquistata principalmente per (purtroppo) dover verificare possibili tracce di perdite di urina dei genitori anziani.È davvero funzionale in questo, si riescono ad evidenziare bene tali residui, ma non solo; è impressionante quanto possa tornare utile ad individuare oltre che a tracce di sporco generico che magari si confonde con il fondo di pavimenti e muri, anche ad esempio a residui di intonaco o altri materiali di lavorazione su qualsiasi materiale o fondo, che non si notano ad occhio nudo o con luce normale/elettrica. Diventa quasi "divertente" scovare questi residui per poi rimuoverli.Ottima la fattura, tutta in lega di alluminio zigrinato e consistente, con un bel pulsante (giustamente, viola..), di accensione.Il fascio di luce non è molto ampio, ma copre cmq una cinquantina di cm di raggio, stando in piedi.Attenzione solo alle dimensioni, è piuttosto piccola la fotografia trae in inganno: l'impugnatura sta giusto nella mano, in foto dava l'impressione di essere una torcia ben più grande.Il vantaggio è che è comoda da maneggiare.Nell'insieme, davvero un buon articolo, al prezzo giusto, simpatico ed utile, anche come regalo.

Wow, so much stuff glows under a black light. I know about certain light colors of fabric - especially white, but not that lint, dust and lots of different cleaning products - glow! I mean, check out my curtains - in the picture - that glow. That is fabric softener residue, and it's not evenly spread out over the fabric. Makes me wonder just how clean my washer really is getting stuff. (I have a newer front loader too).And then all the splashes and spills from kids, OMG. Areas I thought were clean, have spots and splashes even up the walls. So those videos where they show someone using a black light at a motel and you see stuff glow all over, even the ceiling - well that's not all bodily fluids!! Think champagne slashing and getting everywhere, including the ceiling.The only areas in my home that didn't have something glowing, were the recently painted walls.I got this to help me locate any cat spray, as I've seen a few spots on a closet door, from a neutered male cat. It doesn't have that cat urine odor, but I still see the tell tail dot and streak where it's run down the wall where he's sprayed, (and yes, females spray too). So, without the odor to sniff out spots I thought, hey blacklight should help me out. Ohhh heck no! Well, it does, but I didn't bargain for the whole house glowing, even the carpet after it was freshly cleaned. That wasn't expected.Glowing dust really blew my mind - little dots on the furniture and piles in the corners of the rooms.So, if you really want to see what actually glows in your house - get this and brace yourself.As for the actual flashlight, it is sturdy, well made and take 3 AA+ batteries to power it. Has a nice hand feel, with some weight to it and it turns on with a simple click of the button on the end. Super easy to use.This is also a must have tool for anyone who goes clubbing where there is a blacklight being used - you need to check your clothing prior to leaving home, as you might find spots that glow in all the wrong places!!
