First I'lI start with the good. This thumb grip gives me a more secure grip with more leverage over the camera.Now the bad, I've lost mine twice because it slides out of the hot-shoe way too easily when you have you camera slung around your neck and it rubs against your clothing/backpack. I lost it once while camping, where I was lucky that another camper managed to find the tiny little black piece on the ground. This week if fell off while I walk walking through my city and when I found it this time it had already been run over by a car.Unfortunately, I just don't see myself running out to spend $50 on something I'll probably just lose on my next hike.

I use 2 telephoto lenses on my Fujiflim T-4. One the 16-55 aka "the brick" is especially heavy and the grip is comes in handy. Glad I bought the grip.

Used on a Fuji XT- 4 Would like see the thumb rest extented about 0.5cm Perhaps offer 2 sizes for small and large handsContinues to slide out of the hot shoe. Improve rubber grip.

High quality machining, and the rubber on the thumb area is comfortable. Fits firmly in the hotshoe. Overall though, not for me. The positioning makes the camera feel less useful in my hand, and it definitely makes the BBA button tough to hit effectively. It feels ok to just put your thumb on while carrying the camera around, but to try and use it while shooting, never feels good. Was also a lot more expensive than the other brands, but the quality is definitely there. I was going to return it ($50) but will most likely keep it, in case my feelings on it change.

I have two thumb grips for the Fuji X-T4, and as usual, the LensMate version is by far the superior product. This is my third LensMate thumb grip, having purchased them over the years for various models of Fuji cameras. What makes them superior? Solid, sturdy single-piece construction, perfectly shaped form designed to match the specific specifications of each camera model, and an embedded rubberized pad that helps ease any discomfort from pressure on the thumb. Like the previous models, this one fits perfectly into the flash shoe mount and there is little concern for it slipping out (unlike some other cheaper brands). The X-T4 only comes in black, a slight deviation from previous models. The change in handling that occurs when you add this to your camera is amazing. If you have never tried one before, it's just something you have to try to fully appreciate: the arm that comes down to provide a thumb rest actually allows you to grip the camera in a completely different way, and further, distributes the weight of the camera between your hand and your thumb for a much more comfortable grip. The addition of this grip can make for a much longer period of time of the comfortable holding of the camera, particularly if you are using one of the heavier lenses. As with the other, previous models for the X-H1, the X-T2, the X-T1, etc., this is a five-star product.
