The drill bit bent in first second or two, straighten it, then it broke a second later. Replaced the drill bit with one of mine and the hole saw has been doing a great job ever since. The hole saw is top notch but throw away the drill bit.

I had to cut a hole in the soffet by my roof to run a wire through the attic to the side of the house for a network security camera. Was drilling through a 2x6 board and this hole saw bit did a great job. Even though it was awkward standing on a ladder trying to drill this hole- this really was the perfect tool for the job.

Cuts perfectly clean holes. Made in 'merica it's pricey. But, well made and will definitely last for a lot of cuts.

I have searched many other solution to make a inch hole at my chrome sink including cone shape drill bit, but this is the perfect bit. I worried if my drill power is too weak to use this but it was no worry. Now I'm happy to use the dispenser with a large amount of Costco dish soap.

Used this to drill a hole in counter for a dish soap dispenser. Worked great! I am sure it won't get a ton of use but it seems solid enough that it will last me a life time!

I used this to cut out 1in holes in .5in thick 1018 steel since 1in drill bits are expensive and 'much'. It worked great in my drill press that I set to go as slow as I could and used excessive cutting fluid.95% of the bad reviews were from people who used it improperly. You are not supposed to force it (a little bit of pressure, not go Hercules on it), you have to keep it straight while going down or else you'll snap the pilot bit, use a center punch on the metal before going in, you have to go slow on metal and use cutting fluid because it gets HOT which destroys temper.

This hole saw works well, providing you know how to properly drill with a hole saw. A lot of people run hole saws at high speed into metal and doing so will bend / break the pilot bit when the teeth of the hole saw grab into the metal. Go slow when first starting out, use a cutting/drill lubricant when drilling metal, keep your teeth clean of wood chips, and avoid drilling into concrete and this hole saw will last for a long time. I've used several Lenox hole saws and have been very happy with them. All parts are also replaceable if you break a component.
