The brand of this binder "Leitz" is as synonymous with binders in Germany, as in the U.S. "Jeep" is synonymous with off-road vehicles. The whole outside of the binder is colored (with several colors available) and has a linen-line texture. The binder provides two rings with a spacing of 8cm, the standard German/European spacing, which will allow you to store documents from A6 up to A4, and of course all sizes in-between. However you need a compatible hole-puncher that also has a spacing of 8cm, the standard U.S. thee-hole punchers will not work with this binder!The hole puncher that I use (also from Leitz) has an adjustable guide bar that not only had marking for A6, A4 and A4, but also for U.S. letter format (though not U.S. legal), so I use these binders to store financial documents in U.S. letter (and below) sizes with different colors for different accounts or purposes.This particular variant of a binder with all the outside in a colored, quasi-linen texture is the priciest variant of a Leitz folder. You can find less expensive ones, where only the back of the binder is colored.Overall this is a premium product and commands a premium price. However prices here in the U.S. are particularly steep, about two to three times as high as in Germany. But I suppose, if you're looking at this item, a binder with U.S. ring-spacing and format will not do (and obviously the U.S. sellers know that).

Yes, it is expensive but the two hole system is simply so much better in terms of ease of storage, ease of moving from page to page, and with Leitz ease of changing order of pages.

“It's a two-ring binder,” I can hear any European reading this review saying now, “so what's to get excited about?”Yes, well... this is the first time I've ever touched — much less owned — a European-style 2-ring binder. The reason I bought this is I'm working on converting a bunch of materials over into A4-formatted documents, and I decided I wanted to go the full monty and have the proper binder for them. The Leitz 2-Ring 2-In Premium Linen Textured binder is really nice, and easily the nicest ringed binder I've ever owned. The 2-ring holder mechanism is well engineered and makes the American 3-ring binder units feel almost like toys.I would definitely do business with this seller again, and certainly recommend this binder to anyone looking for a 2-ring A4 document style unit.

Rien à voir, mais absolument rient à voir avec le classeur à levier que j'ai acheté en supermarché et qui s'est démantibulé au bout de trois utilisations.Le mécanisme est hyper solide, prêt à résister aux indélicatesses de mon ado. Et le reste est à l'avenant.Une marque de qualité qui a déjà fait ses preuves à la maison (de la sixième à la première, même pochette à élastiques Leitz, utilisée quotidiennement en période scolaire).

This is a good quality binder and perfect for Israeli paper that only has 2 holes. It seems sturdy.
