This precision mechanism has been tested 12,000 times and is guaranteed to always align. It also allows you to file from both sides making it easier to insert documents. Leitz 80mm 180 degree board lever arch files have an 80mm spine which is designed to hold up to 600 sheets of A4 paper, 100 more than standard files. Five Leitz 180 degree 80 mm lever arch files will hold the same number of documents as six standard lever arch files, saving you space. They are made from strong board with a marbled paper cover which protects the file and prevents scratches. They have a thumbhole, rado rings and metal shoes for secure storage and user-friendly handling. There is a spine label for easy personalisation. These work fine in combination with a Leitz hole punch. A single binder is able to stand up on its own (without bookends) because its covers have an outward torque. Closing the binder and pressing the front cover against the two rings locks the cover in place against the rings, because it has a pair of elongated holes in the front cover with a "tooth" on the lower lip of each of each hole.When the pages are in them they look professional; and they are about half as expensive per unit as another brand that also has finger-holes in the spines of its binders but which has three D-rings and not-so-good reviews about its ring mechanism. The ring mechanisms of these appear to work properly so far.

Excellent quality, just a shame that the ring binder mechanism now includes a plastic component.
