I thought this was supposed to be for beginner sock crocheters. I think that it is ok, however it lacks some explanation of some stitches like the Foundation Double Crochet. She begins the first pattern with it but doesn't say that it's a FDC. Instead you're left to muddle through the stitch without really knowing what she's doing. Then when you reach the gusset of the sock there is only one illustration that doesn't really explain what is really being done to crochet the gusset. An added illustration would have been helpful. Needless to say I find this pattern book to be a waste of time and money. The people at Leisure Arts should be more careful with editing these patterns.

I have crocheted mostly afghans and scarves so I am really looking forward to learning how to make socks! I love the title… I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting Socks! Its just what I'll be saying when I get started!
