Always looking for new and exciting things to add to the fleet of Jeeps. I came across this and figured I would give it a shot. This review is for both the left and right side.Here are my thoughts:The item arrived in a fair amount of time, it was well packaged and appeared to be in pristine shape on the outside.Once unboxed, I was impressed with the craftsmanship. Being a fabricator of sorts (in the shop making things) I could tell it was at least well thought out. The welds and powder coating were very well done.Went to install and immediately ran into trouble. The bracketry that comes with the kit is designed to fit the OEM threaded rivnuts in the roll bars, however they just plain will not line up. (Yes, it is year correct.)So, I am going to have to either make some mounts that will line up or repurpose these all together.Either way, I am happy with the product, it is not a shabby threw together setup, just might require some better-quality control.Recommended, with warnings.(Photos would not upload, frustrating.)

Reviewing: KOKSHELY Left Driver Side Roll Bar Metal Storage Box Molle Panels Compatible With 2018-2025 Wrangler JL JLU 4 Doors|No Drilling|Easy Installation|Not Compatible With Soft Top I got this for a 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Sport Willys (JL). This box is well built out of approx ⅛" thick steel. The box and mounting brackets are all quite solid. Overall it fit well in the space, and was easy to install. The lower bracket didn't line up with a round hole (pic 2), so it's just pinched in place with a screw and washer (pic 3), but it seems to be holding well enough. I didn't care for the look of the exposed rollbar bracket, so I modified the OEM piece of plastic to fit over the bracket and clip back into place(see pic 1). It looks much better now (pics 5&6). It would be nice if this was an inch or so deeper. It's just a little too narrow to fit my emergency power pack, my first-aid kit, or my tow-strap, so it's currently still empty. Although it's not that big of a deal for me since I have my own tools, it may be important for others to know that the included Allen keys are garbage. This one (pic 6) lasted just barely long enough to finish the installation before it was completely useless. At least it was the tool that stripped instead of the hardware. The final issue I've found is that the latch rattles as I drive. It's pretty annoying, so I ended up having to tape some padding on the inside of the latch ring to resolve the issue. Despite the handful of issues I've found with this box, I still really like it. It looks great, and (mounting on the driver's side) does not obstruct my vision in any way. I just need to figure out what will fit in it.

I have both a hard top and soft top and haven't put the hard top back on yet. I was hoping it would still install in the soft top because it doesn't say anywhere that it won't. All the pictures/videos and install instructions show the hard top though. This box is heavy, with thick metal, thick installation brackets and good hardware/screws. The hinges on mine are not aligned perfectly, which makes the door not exactly level. Door still works fine though, so no big deal. I cannot however get it seated properly with the soft top. I can install the bracket under the soft top hinge mechanism but it just doesn't sit right. This pushes the soft top hinge out, and while I can get the box in place, it just won't install. I don't think there's anything wrong with the box that's making it not work in the soft top, I think it just can't be done.

Let me start by saying THIS IS A GREAT MOLLE STORAGE BOX !!! It fits the Wrangler's roll bar and storage area perfectly. It holds a good amount of stuff and you can strap stuff to the outside of the storage box.It's not 5 stars because of the crappy bolts they give you to mount it. The bolts are "soft metal" and if you try to "torque" them they WILL strip. Out of the 6 bolts all 6 stripped and required a locking vise grip to remove. However, a quick trip to the hardware store and 6 hex head bolts later and things are perfect. If good bolts were supplied this would be 5+ stars. It will "probably" work if you mildly hand tighten them with the supplied allen wrench. Being mounted in my off roading wrangler, I want these TIGHT! I recommend this with the understanding that "GOOD" bolts are needed, once you install this and torque them down, you'll have great storage that does not rattle and looks good.
