I'm a disabled vet who deals with chronic health issues that prevent me from stretching too far. I'm about 275 lbs so I was looking for something that could hold my weight well. The step is a little higher than some others, but works perfectly for me with my step range. It's allowed my husband and I to be able to keep our independence as we face our various issues. One of my favorite accessibility aid's I've ever bought. It does come disassembled with nice clear instructions.

This step stool was easy to put together. Easy to follow instructions. My granddaughter (14 yo) put it together in under an hour. It has a nice padded handle and is just the right height for what I needed. Good quality metal and is durable. Because the legs are pretty straight you must be careful to not tip it.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it, very sturdy and slip resistant and the handle is great to move the stool or if she needs it. Simple to assemble.

Seldom do I write reviews on products I purchase, but I was very impressed with this one. I have often found that quality is lacking in most products purchased from overseas manufacturers. I have never heard of LEEKPAI before I purchased this product but I would buy from them again should the need arise.PROS: The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the care they took in how they wrapped their parts. Each piece was protected in a plastic wrap tube to prevent damage to the paint during shipping. The required assembly hardware was placed in a separate plastic hardware box with washers and nuts secured in their own small Ziploc bag. Often I see hardware just tossed togeher in a small box forcing the consumer to sort the hardware out before assembly. It also came with a small open end wrench and an allen wrench of decent quality to aid in assembly.The second thing I noticed was that the instructions were very clear and concise. Most of the time foreign manufactures translate their instructions into poorly written and broken English.Plus, a few days after we received our purchase, we received an Email from the company Thanking us for our purchase and offering some simple advise on the best way to assemble their product. That's right, they took the time to send us an email which tells me that if I ever need customer service for any reason they would most likely be available.The last thing I noticed during assembly was that when I got everything assembled I had extra hardware leftover. I haven't seen this in a product in a very long time. It use to be that companies would include extra hardware in case the consumer (us) somehow lost a nut, washer, bolt or whatever. Many times during assembly I have dropped a washer or a nut which magically seemed to fall right through the concrete floor never to be seen again. This shows me that the company is willing to spend a little extra on their product to ensure the customer will be less stressed during the assembly process.CONS: The cons for this product are more of personal preference than they are problems with the product, and I only have one. I wish the handle was a little bit taller than it is. I bought this product for my MIL because she can be unsteady on her feet at times. When she stands on the stools platform with her hand at her side she cannot reach the handle for support. In order to reach the handle, she needs to hunch over. This action will change her center of gravity while on the stool and could possibly cause her to fall. If there was an extension tube added to the handle this would not be an issue and it wouldn't have to be any longer than 3-6 inches.Note: LEEKPAI does include a safety sheet within their packaging that warns against using the stool if you have issues with fainting and physical impairment to protect them legally, but I think by adding a few additional inches to the handle height would improve this quality product even more.I hope this helps you decide if this product will work for you.

I like this step stool. I use it in the kitchen for a little more height to reach my top cabinets. I don’t need multiple steps and I’m disabled so it helps to have a handle attached. The only downside is that the handle was damaged. It not the same grip, it has indents and scrapes on the grip. Otherwise, it’s a good product

This product is a godsend for my elderly Mother. She can now get just a little higher to peer into her cupboards and has the handle to help support her while doing so.I wished I’d found this item a couple of years earlier.

Very easy to assemble. Very sturdy. The handle is great. Supplier answered my question quickly - within a day. Looks much nicer than a "hospital" stool. It makes getting in/out of bed easier, even when my wonky hip protests the weather. The only issue was that the vinyl covering on the step arrived with a crack in the vinyl. For now this is "cosmetic" and the manufacturer made a price adjustment. Thank you.
