Works great and easy to use. Easy to clean as well. The only bad thing is the clear covers for the black tubes can crack easy. But other than that, it works well for its use

I wouldn't use it for small crickets (they could get out), but 30 large crickets fit just fine. No issues.

I haven't been able to use my Kricket Keepers! They came before the crickets that seem to be lostin the mail.

This thing feels cheap. The little doors that are supposed to drop down feel like they are going to break every time I touch them, and they fall off constantly. The clear plastic and the tubes feel fine and work. Its like they skimped out on the lid.

VENDOR take note - the unit arrived with only one tube. There was no product packaging - just the keeper with some packing material in the Amazon box. I had to get it exchanged for a complete one.As for the keeper itself - it's a good size for the few dozen from the store to feed our lizards. Probably not big enough for a breeding stock.I second the comments about the tubes catching the covers, covers popping off, and covers not closing by themselves. We have had this model for over a decade. The plastic deteriorates and the parts get lost. We started with at least 2 units and finally had the last one (with only 1 tube left) develop a big hole in the bottom. It was a good run though, so I've got few complaints.

Where do I start? Firstly, when I ordered it, I ordered Lee's Kricket Keeper, small. It tells me I am reviewing Komodo Kricket Keeper Large. So that's for starters. Then, if it WAS indeed the LARGE unit, it was pretty flippin' small. But like other reviewers, I had issues with the overall quality of the unit. Issues that frankly are worth me driving to the UPS store to return it. It is pretty junky. Shoddy construction lead to crickets escaping when the tubes were removed because the little flapper gimmicks would just fall off. So that was fun, chasing down crickets, in my basement. Fun times. One of the little bastards just chirps all night now. So thanks for that, Lee, or Komodo, or whoever you are....

See on top of the the black tubes, the two openings? On top of the openings there’s a little hole: ducktape the hell out of it or crickets will escape.Awesome product.

Love that I don't have to touch the bugs at all. Turns out it works great for superworms a well, they climb into the tubes and make feeding a breeze.

Recently we discovered a veiled chameleon in our lanai, our enclosed (except for a doggie door) back porch. The poor thing was not doing well so we took it in, did some quick, extensive research and scrambled to get the things the little guy needed. Later one we found out that an individual was breeding things and was facing impending trouble so they released all of their stock into the wild.A lot of reptiles require feeding, and that usually involves crickets. This makes it much easier to store and retrieve the crickets when it is feeding time. This was smaller than what I expected but that was my mistake, otherwise this was a great item.

I have two spiderlings so I was keeping tiny pinhead crickets. At first I didn't put them in here but once I thought they were big enough I put them in with sawdust on the ground and an egg container cardboard. I covered most of the vents and holes just in case - but the crickets don't ever go up there! Since I've put them in there they have grown loads! However, I do let the crickets have one side of one of my spiderlings heat mats up the side of the keeper so that might have something to do with their longevity.I use the two pots to put banana (or whatever I have at hand) in every few days. And they have a little bottle cap with bark now which has water in it - I didn't put this in when they were tiny!Anyway functionally, I don't move the keeper apart from when I'm putting the fruit in. When I feed my spiders I pull out one of the black tubes and shake the crickets in there (usually between 3 and 6) into a tennis ball tube and then I push one out with a paintbrush into the spider enclosure. Afterwards the crickets will easily go back into the black tube or you can tip them back through the top hatch into their home. And that's it!So in summary, its really easy to feed your pet - no chasing crickets around. And the crickets do really well in there. I love watching them explore, eat and drink.

I got this to keep medium sized crickets for my leopard gecko. It's a good size and didn't take up much space. It was pretty easy to get the crickets out since they liked to hide in the tubes -- I just took out a tube and shook them out into my gecko's tank. The plastic feels a bit cheap, but we dropped it once and nothing broke. We never had any escapees, and it was easy to add more crickets as well as food for them. I'd recommend it for those who only have one or two cricket-eaters.
