I like the length. I like the elastic waist. These are nice shorts but I ordered a medium and should have ordered a large. I am 5'2", 148 lbs.

I’ve gotten SO many compliments when I wear these. At 5’4” 114lb (26” waist, 35” hips) these fit like they were made just for me.I’ve never liked my upper legs much so I prefer a 5” inseam … these are perfect. While still well-above my knees, they cover just enough of my upper legs so I'm not so self-conscious … giving me an extra boost of confidence when I’m out. I am lion, hear me rrrrroar when I wear these :-)These shorts are super comfortable and have an incredible buttery-soft feel (hubby is a BIG fan, too *wink*). The fabric is quality: soft yet durable; no pilling and I’ve washed them many times since I purchased. I usually air-dry activewear, but not always. They’re also a “true black” (no blue’ish or red’ish tint) which perfectly contrasts the stark-white stripes. So cute!Five stars all the way. I highly recommend.

I really like the style of these casual shorts & they are comfortable to wear. I normally wear a size 8 but I ordered a size 10. I’m glad I did. Size 8 would've been too tight. The length is perfect on me, not too short, not too long. There are 4 functional pockets, 2 in the front, 2 in the back. I purchased them in black & you can dress them up or down.UPDATE: I decided to purchase a size 12 just to compare the fit. The 12 fit better than the 10. The 10 was a tad bit snug in the hip area. I never thought I could wear a size 12 but I think these shorts run on the slim side. I’m a size 8. In order to get the right fit, I had to order a size 12. The fit is very comfortable all around. I am 5’6”, 170 lbs, 30” waist & 42 hips. I will keep the size 10 & donate them.

I have bought these shorts for a few years now. I am short and this length is perfect for me. I have lost weight in the past year so I needed to buy a smaller size. I now have them in sizes 14 and 10. I have them in several colors. In my opinion these run a little big but I guess that is personal preference. They are dresser that denim shorts and can be worn more places. I wear these on cruises that we usually take in the winter. I feel like I look nice and am comfortable.They do wrinkle more than my denim shorts but that is a small price to pay for these quality shorts. I also wear Lee jeans, denim shorts, and slacks. I've had most of them for years. I'm just having to buy duplicates in a smaller size!

These shorts have plenty of stretch but tend to run a little small. They are comfortable and just the right length They are made of a nice material, light weight and cool for summer weather and keep their shape. The button is big and the zipper is a little stiff

The shorts are a cute design and fit well, but the material is way too rough for me. I thought that maybe it would soften after washing it, but it is still rough after several washes. Perhaps it is good for people who want these for more heavy-duty activities, but they are not comfortable to me for everyday use.

These Lee shorts are great; well made, nice material soft, very comfortable, nice give, deep pockets and flattering. I suspect will last a long time. I purchased oxford tan and canteen which is a really nice brown. I'm 5'8' about 140 lbs. Based solely on my fit, I suggest trying at least 1 size smaller as these shorts seem to run large in waist and hips (for my height, weight and build) and, as several reviewers noted, they do stretch out rather quickly once they're on. I tried (exchanged) size 10, 8, and finally the 6 was a perfect fit. The 10 slipped down and flared at thigh. The 8 still too much room in waist and loose at thighs (I don't want to have to wear a belt) but the 6 fit perfectly; not too tight, nice give, and no flare around the thighs. Seems like the sizes run gradually; they don't jump up or down what I consider a full size. Generally speaking, I can't pull even a size 10 pants/shorts up beyond my thighs! A few reviewers said no back pockets, but made to snip open if you want to use them. Sizes vary significantly across brands and difficult to judge as height/weight ratio, curvature, and fit preference differ among individuals. Don't give up on these great shorts! Be patient and find the size that contours to your liking -Amazon's liberal exchange and return policy is unparalleled. Once I found the right size for me, these are fantastic shorts.

I have these in Blue Veil Floral, Expedition and Rivet Navy StripeThe Blue Veil Floral and the Expedition fit great! I am 5 feet 6 inches and 210 pounds and the size 14 fits perfectly. However, the Rivet Navy Stripe, in the same size 14 is too tight!The shorts are comfortable and so far seem like great quality.The 7 inch inseam is perfect for me as I do not like my shorts to be too short, but, don't want them knee length either; these hit perfectly at mid-thigh.

Canadian here. It was a perfect fit and good quality jeans. Has some stretch to them so it fit my curves nicely. I bought a size 10 (M) with a 7" inseam, which is what I would normally buy at a store.I have a 37" (92cm)waist, 5'4" tall and 150lb.They are so comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase. Super fast delivery. I will be buying more and in other colours too.
