I use this tape for following patterns. I put it under or on top of the line I'm knitting. For patterns with multiple sections knit on one row, I use several different colors to keep track of it all.

This is perfect for highlighting sections of sheet music that need extra attention. It peels off cleanly and doesn't tear the score or leave any sticky residue behind. I will buy this in more colors.

When you need to highlight knitting instructions and move it? This is the one. Can use over and over and helps keep the instructions clear and your place when following complicated instructions. Recommended by the Knit Shop and have enough for many garments. A great addition, especially for Fair Isle knits.

Super highlighter tape which I use to keep track in knitting patterns. This purple seems more restful on eyes than the yellow, and blocks out a bit more of the text on the line you don't want to look at. I can pick it up and reposition it many, many times on the paper.

Sticky enough to stay put, but peels off easily so you can move it down your pattern as needed. I moved it all over the place while making a shawl and it just started to lose it's stick when I finished. I'm really impressed with this highlighter tape!

Precisely what I was looking for. I use this all the time for my knitting and cross stitch patterns, but finding the purple is difficult at best. So happy to know I don't have to be quite as jealous about my use of it as I can easily order more.
