It lasts forever!!! I had charged the osmo pocket 3 about twice before I finally charged the light and it wasn’t because it was dying - I was going to him and wanted to just be sure I’d have it charged.

I have mixed thoughts on this small Pocket 3 lighting system. The light itself is well-made and easy to operate. There are also two separate light attachment brackets, instructions and a charging cable is included in the kit.The light features two small buttons on top that are a bit difficult to locate in the dark as they are built into two contoured ridges on the top of the light. One button turns the light off/on and cycles through the three light temperatures available while the second button cycles through three light intensity settings. The light intensity is impressive for such a small unit and the rated battery life is 2 hours continuous on high, 8 hours on the low setting. But don't expect this little unit to illuminate a room. In total darkness it will work well for objects, (such as people), up to a few feet away but not much farther. It's great for selfies, vlogging and light painting but not for general illumination. The light mounts on the Pocket 3 using one of two included brackets. One bracket snaps onto the camera swivel while the second mounts onto the body of the camera. The swivel bracket keeps the light continuously aiming wherever the camera faces while the second bracket places the light facing forward either on the right or left side of the camera. I'm not a fan of the camera swivel bracket as I felt like I had to put significant pressure on the swivel to snap it in place. The second bracket is held on by friction on the camera body. The light attaches to either bracket using magnetic force and I felt this system worked well. Attachment was strong and secure.Bottom Line: Handy light to have in dark situations where I need a little light to illuminate myself or friends for photos/videos. The light is not blinding and best of all, it's quick and easy to mount the light. Kit includes a charging cable and the light is red while charging/turns off when full. I wish the mounting system for the camera swivel was easier to use as that would make the kit a 5 star level.

What is a real shame is that this could be something worthwhile to use, but there is so much plastic that you need to make the light work, it is not recommended. Mine arrived with a broken bracket that goes around the back of the gimbal head, so I could not try that out. The other bracket that you use to mount the lights on the side is very awkard to use, as you slide it over and it just kind of grips in place, then you can mount the light magnetically to the plastic bracket. It's all a shame because the light itself is pretty nice, and I could definitely have seen using it, especially in darker places, but the overall implementation of it is just not working for me. Especially since it was broken straight out of the box. Not recommended at all.
