This very bright strip can be used to create just about anything as it’s very flexible and bright. A very good self adhesive tape is on the light strip keeping it in place. My only concern is that this light runs extremely warm to the touch and I never had a similar product run this warm.

I combined this with a motion sensor to light up the inside of a drawer in my office that is perpetually dark. It tucks away neatly under the desktop and provides plenty of light. The power connection on this is straight 5V USB - no switches or other control. Apply power and you've got light. Per my third image, the cut-lines on these are only an inch apart so you can cut them virtually exactly to length for most applications.

I got this to light up an area that had been bothering me for some time. Finally got it installed, it looked great, then 1 day after Amazon's return window closed, it burned out. Don't know why, just stopped working completely. Save yourself the hassle, get a better LED strip. The short term light you get from this is not worth it.

It really lights up the inside area of the laser cover. It is a must if you have a camera installed. You will need a high power USB charger station to run it. It uses too much power to plug into your computer or regular USB Charger. The charger gets real hot (fire hazard) and the computer will over heat and shut down the USB ports due to overload.

I installed these in my aquarium cabinet to help me see when the doors are open. My only complaint is that if the power is shut off, the lights forget their previous state and automatically turn on. Since they're in my cabinet I don't notice until the lights on the tank are off and I see a white glow from inside the cabinet. I would have preferred a startup state of off. Other than that, they're great lights!
