This light is very versatile and can be used for more than highlighting pictures. My son is using ours at his desk to provide extra light and as a backup in case of potential power outages. One can choose between several different levels and qualities of light depending on one's needs. It makes a fair amount of light for its size and when tilted away from the wall can spread a pretty good amount of light into a small to medium sized room. The adhesive that came with the light would probably do a good job of keeping it on a wall, but my son doesn't want to affix anything to his wall, so he filled a metal cookie tin with rocks and used two powerful magnets to hold the lamp in position on the lid and placed it on top of high closet next to his desk. It holds a charge for at least 8 hours before needing recharging run on high and could possibly run longer if used at one of the lower settings. It takes about 5-6 hours to recharge after 8-9 hours of continuous running using the enclosed USB cable. The only thing we would have liked better is if it had been a bit larger. I think for the money this is a good lamp that could be not only illuminating your artwork or whatever you want to feature, but also be there at the ready in case of a sudden power outage.

This review is for the Koopala LED Picture Light with 6000mAH Rechargeable Battery.This is a nice small picture light that is unobtrusive in appearance, as it should be. The picture should get the attention, not the lamp.If you are looking for a “bright” light, go elsewhere. This is to softly illuminate individual pictures or objects, not large areas. You WANT a soft illumination to protect the picture and not fade the colors.Since this is rechargeable, it needs to be taken down and plugged in occasionally. The included bracket allows for this easily.The instructions are well written. The remote control works well, and is easier to use than the on light controls.If you are looking for a simple, rechargeable picture lamp, this just may fit your needs.

I have several issues with this light.1. Typically the size of the rechargeable battery correlates directly to the weight of the item. Having held us in my hand, and having felt the weight, I seriously doubt this is 6000 mA hours. This is a very lightweight item.2. Product description clearly states “five brightness levels”. This is not true. There is one brightness level and about five different colors of light.3. The light produced is so dim, I would never consider it appropriate to light up a picture on the wall, a piece of art on a table, or a pathway outside.This product was an absolute waste of my time.

This is my second go-around with a rechargeable poster/portrait light as the first one I tried (different brand) had a very disappointing use-before-recharge window that only got worse as the weeks went by. Barely two months into it and I was re-charging daily.THIS light, however, has held up a bit longer so far -- I can get a solid 3 days out of it at about 70% brightness running 4 hours nightly. It has excellent coverage of light, 3 different light temperatures (daylight, warm, blue-ish), and it includes a credit card remote to control that and brightness. While slimmer in looks and lighter in weight to my previous light, its easy enough to remove from its mount (easily mounted via included 3M double-sided tape or screws/drywall anchors) to recharge with a transformer (wall wart charger) you have and the short USB-C cord they provide or yours.What costs is a major star is that the predefined auto-shutoff times on the remote are 10, 30, and 60 minutes. You could, of course, simply use the on/off buttons to run it as long as you'd like, but I'd expect more than 60 minutes being the max for a auto-shutoff time. I'm a set-and-forget kinda guy, and 60 minutes doesn't cut it. I'd prefer 3hr, 4hr timeframes. Also, it will not turn on again until you turn it on with the remote. It would've been great if it would just turn on at the same time it was manually turned on originally. I have cheap rechargeable fake candles that light up and turn off automatically each day that can do this, I'm not sure why its not an option here.It is what it is -- if you're looking for a slim, light, rechargeable poster/portrait light that you don't mind turning on manually each time, its hard to go wrong with this because it does have impressive illumination and the color temperature really does work well depending on what you're illuminating.

Koopala LED Picture Lights (8" LED lamp. 6000mAH Rechargeable Battery by USB-C. 3 Dimmable Color Temperatures. Adjustable Mount. Double-sided stickers. Remote. Wall mounting screws)It's a simply designed LED lamp mounted on to a flat mount that can be taped or screwed to a wall in two different positions. The lamp can pivot on the mount and set at one of three dimmable color temperatures of bright white to yellow. It's moderate in brightness and really of meant to highlight things like a picture or statue display in a dark room. It's light weight so attaching it to a wall near your bed for evening reading is no problem. It has a small remote that makes it easy to activate and adjust in temperature and brightness as you see fit. The charging port, usb-c easy to access.This doesn't distribute light in a way that be optimal for lighting a room. The pivot point on the mount isn't that sturdy either. I think with use, it probably won't stay in place because it doesn't click into postion. But if you just fix it somewhere that shouldn't be a problem.Overall, I think this works for the task it's described for: lighting up pictures or displays. It can also function a nightlight for reading or a comfortable light in the background when going to bed. It has a lot of space on the mount to affix tape, glue, screws or even magnets to position it in many different places that would be useful.
