I gave this product a 4 since there is no slot for other items I.e reeds, extra mouth pieces and cleaning cloths. Realistically he can leave those items at home but he needs them everyday at school. But the bag is very good quality material that is study. It’s very convenient compared to lugging a case around. I recommend purchasing this bag on Amazon compared to the local music store. It’s over 100$ in my area. You’ll definitely get the bang for your buck.

The case was of great quality. I loved that it came in backpack form, but also had a handle on top. However, the barrel peice did not fit into the proper spot. Other than that, I would recommend the case to any clarinet player.

My daughter is a freshman now. We bought this for her in 7th grade. She is rough on it and it has stood up well. Still using it daily. No rips, tears, or anything. All zippers still work perfectly.

Not for all clarinets versions, but I opened the cover and cut it with knife to needed size.
