LEAVES LESS SCARRING
A bonsai tree is a piece of art in itself. Finding it with a scar is aesthetically unpleasing to the eye. Scarring occurs when the wire is wrapped too tightly or left on for too long. It can also occur with the use of copper wire. Unlike wires made of copper, our aluminum alloy wires leave fewer scars on your miniature tree. Because it is soft and light, your tree can outgrow the wiring without experiencing much scarring once the wire is removed.
LONG & STRONG
Single wiring your bonsai tree takes up a lot of wire already. Just imagine how much more wires will be used when you double wire your tree’s branches. All of our training wires are 32 feet long, which is more than enough length for single or double wiring your miniature plant. You can even wire your whole plant, all the way down the trunk up to the branches, without worries of running out of precious wire.

GREAT FOR PRACTICE
Wiring a bonsai tree is not the easiest technique to master. It takes a lot of patience and time to perfect. If you are a beginner trying the art out as a hobby, you will not want to waste precious wire in the process. Our aluminum wire is extremely affordable and serves as great practice material. It can easily be corrected, making it ideal for newbies in the art. Because it is softer than wires made of copper, it is easier to apply and reapply.
SIMPLE TO USE
Wiring a bonsai may be tricky, but our wires can make it easier for you. First, select the branches you want to wire. Cut the right length of wire, then start wrapping it around the trunk. Proceed with the first branch, wiring from the base up to the tip. Be sure to wrap around the branches at an angle of 45 degrees. Continue with the other branches. When you have wired the entire tree, you can start bending the branches.
WIDE APPLICATION
Our aluminum alloy wires may be designed especially for wiring bonsai trees, but they can also be used for a broad range of applications including residential, commercial, and hobby projects. I'm getting back into bonsai and this wire was such a great deal, I didn't give it a star for beginner as I think any one who does bonsai and doesn't need giant rolls would find this a great deal for the amount of wire and comes with wire cutters, very happy with my purchase and will be using the wire this weekend.

My wife has a "few' plants that she wanted to shape so they weren't growing so crazy. The wire is easy to manipulate on the plant to make shaping the plant very easy. She recommends this product.

There is PLENTY of wire in the kit for a hobbyist just getting into bonsai. I've used this product to wire up several trees already (about 6 I think) and the rolls still look full. The 5 wire gauges provide plenty of versatility for heavier branches, with the largest 1mm aluminum being damn near difficult to bend without pliers. The ONLY complaint I can think of is that the wire cutters seem a bit chintzy, but they do their job just fine with no issues. Great kit for beginners! 👍

My son has recently started getting into bonsai and needed wire to start working on his trees. I ordered this for him for Christmas and he’s already used it on one tree.
