First of all, this one appears to be the same exact product that is branded by other sellers on Amazon for more than double the full price listed here.Still, I am way to cheap to buy what I would consider a luxury item when paper pouches or cardboard boxes are cheaper, but I got an amazing deal on a used one so I bought it.It looks brand new and yes it was “folded” but it wasn’t folded so it caused a permanent crease, it wasn’t creased at all and the attached pictures are taken one day after getting it and it looks pretty flat to meWorks better with cover weight paper as regular paper does not go in smoothly due to the slim fit. I’d say 50 sheets is probably max for this pouch

I did not like the manufacturer packaged this item folded in half. The document holder is very nice leather and a quality item but should have been sent flat. The folding damaged the leather.

This product is exactly what the description says, although to be honest the concept of a leather mailing envelope or file folder never really occurred to me.The sleeve is made of nice quality leather, strong but not too thick or heavy, and it's sized appropriately to fit US Letter or A4 papers.I really appreciate the snap closures for the flap because I find string closures on envelopes to be really annoying to use.The description doesn't do this justice - it's too cool to use for ordinary or everyday documents. Getting your hands on this will send you looking for papers that are important and special enough to justify keeping them in here.

This is the real deal. The leather is thick enough to protect documents, but it is still flexible. It has both string and snap closures. The string is pretty long, so I snipped a few inches off. I expect this to eventually take on a vintage patina as it is used. The little rubs and scapes will actually improve its appearance. I expect it will hold at least 25-30 sheets of paper . I absolutely recommend this.

The Leather Document Holder is a nice way to carry and protect a small amount of papers along with a few pencils & pens. It's A4 size - which is a tad larger than the letter size papers commonly used in the USA. It's made from genuine leather which I like a great deal. There's room for several pages of USA letter size paper along with a ruler, ballpoint pen, pencils & small sharpener. The case will protect your documents from rain, snow, etc. and should age nicely over time when exposed to the elements. The string closure is super low tech, but it saves the weight and cost of a more solid closing mechanism such as snaps or clips. I suppose you could add a bit of velcro tape to the closing flap if you don't care for the string closure. The case appears to be quite well made. The edges of all pieces are stitched to prevent curling of the leather. This case gives a very professional look to you when carrying it whether it's to school, work, important meetings, etc. There is no handle or other device which I believe would make the case easier to carry and less prone to being left behind. The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this case although I think a single strap on the back through which you could put your hand would enhance the case.

It’s meant to hold documents, but it was folded in half and shoved into the delivery envelope. Since it won’t fully straighten out, documents are not easy to put in or take out and the documents are bent.
