The Learning Resources Sorting Surprise Picnic Baskets are absolutely wonderful! This toy has so many options to mix learning and play, making it a versatile and engaging choice for my toddler. The quality is excellent, with sturdy materials that stand up to everyday use (and a bit of toddler roughness including chewing).What I love most is how it helps my son learn numbers, colors, and matching skills in such a fun and interactive way. Each basket has unique features that let us switch up activities. This flexibility keeps him engaged for much longer than other toys because we can mix things up without needing a new set of toys.It’s such a joy to see my son learning and having fun at the same time. This is a fantastic educational toy that blends fine motor skill development with imaginative play. Highly recommend for parents looking for something both fun and functional!

Este juguete sin dudas cumple la función dos por uno, mi hijo está aprendiendo los colores y a su vez puedo enseñarle sobre las frutas y los alimentos. I got this set when my daughter was around 2.5yrs old. This toy was no challenge for her. The only reason is for 3yr old is bc pcs are small. But you can find other fun ways to play, we use this set to feed all her little people characters. I'm sure it can work with Barbies too.

Most of these little foods will fit in the Pop the Pig game. The donut, drink and raspberries don't fit.

I’m a speech therapist and this is my second purchase of these picnic baskets because they’ve been such a hit in therapy sessions and I want to make sure I have a back up just in case. Great for labeling, color matching/sorting, use of verbs, making inferences or just to keep littleones engaged in between speech trials! The baskets are also great for hiding other miniature manipulatives!

Great quality- colors, very fun for toddler/preschool activities.One of the handles broke, but I work with hard charging kiddos with motor issues, so not unexpected. I got it on sale- but would pay full price for it again!

As an educator of young students I am always on the lookout for engaging and educational toys for my students with more unique learning needs, the Learning Resources Sorting Surprise Picnic Baskets have proven to be an absolute gem. This delightful toy seamlessly combines the joy of imaginative play with essential sorting and matching skills, creating a perfect balance that keeps my little one entertained and learning. I find these baskets to highly engaging for students Autism spectrum. I use them in my classroom when working with students who are working on forming and speaking in small phrases.Ex. I like green. The child will point to and read this phrase, then choose that basket. Once the basket has been picked up and opened there is another task awaiting inside. This could be a picture of a number, shape, sight word, emotion, etc.

My 2 year old received these for Christmas and honestly, he would have been happy if this were the only toy he got. He plays with it every day, multiple times. Each time he sits down with them, it buys me about 15-30 minutes of peace and for the cost, that can’t be beat! Very well made. We have purchased other toys by this brand and they have all been great!
