I've had this out in my PK4 classroom for a week now and the kids LOVE it. Taking them apart/putting them together is great motor practice, and the kids also love hiding other things inside. They're very curious about the mechanics of each door. This one is definitely a hit.

This barn set has given my toddler hours of fun. The quality is way better than I thought it would be, can handle lots of banging and throwing around the house. He loves when you push the egg through the hole!

This Peeksville Hide & Cheep Chicken Coop is such a fun toy, and my 2-year-old absolutely loves it! He enjoys cracking open the egg to find the little chicken inside, and it's a great way to keep him engaged. He also enjoys seeing his toy in the included book! The toy is well-made with great quality, and I love that it helps him build fine motor skills as he drops the eggs into the coop and opens the doors to reveal the chickens. The only downside is that he has a bit of trouble putting the chicken back into the egg and closing it, which can be a little frustrating for him. But overall, it's a fantastic sensory toy that encourages imaginative play, memory, and color recognition. I’d definitely recommend it for toddlers!

This is a really cute toy. It comes with three chickens, three eggs and each door as a different way to release the chickens. There is a story book that makes playtime fun. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the eggs are really hard to close. My toddler can’t do it, my baby can’t do it. I can only get them right sometimes before I give up. I’m not sure why they are so hard to align. Other than that, this is a great toy that both my toddler and baby enjoy playing with.

This is an absolutely charming little toy set! As someone with a real chicken coop, I just couldn’t resist this adorable miniature version. The set comes with three cute little chicks and eggs that you can crack open and drop into the coop. There’s a lot for little ones to explore, and the included storybook really brings it to life.I also appreciate that this is from a trusted brand known for quality educational toys. It’s well-made, colorful, and engaging… perfect for toddlers developing fine motor skills and learning through play.

We were really looking forward to this toy, but sadly it's not as fun as we hoped. The coop is made out of cheap plastic and the mechanisms to open the doors are really clunky. The chicks are cute, but they're really difficult to get back into the eggs for my toddler. They have to be situated just right and then closing the egg is really hard because it has to be lined up perfectly the whole way around. It's a softer plastic so it squishes down some when he's holding it, which means the lines on the eggs don't line up well and it's frustrating. I was most excited about the included story, but it's nothing more than a glorified instruction booklet with some cartoons in it. The story line doesn't make much sense, especially given the intended age range of this toy. I'm really disappointed because usually Learning Resources has really high quality educational toys. This one is a miss.
