Since the baby started to mimic adults a lot and got fascinated with my power tools, this was a great gift. It’s colorful, visually stimulating. Use your tools and let them use these next to you.Only Con: the screwdriver makes a punchy sound. Wish it had battery that actually had turning tips or at least makes noise closer to a real screw driver.

This was such a fun first tool set for my one year old! Both my children love it! There are no small parts and the tools are soft and don’t hurt.

Purchased for my Grandson who is 9 months old, very easy for them to grab and hold. Right now he mostly chews on everything because he’s teething, but these are just the right texture even for that!

My friend’s son really loves this toy. It includes kids versions of the tools he sees his dad working with. He likes to presend he is fixing things around his house. The toys are a great quality and will last for many many years.

My 3 year old loves these tools. We’ve been doing a lot of work on our house lately and he loves to pretend that he is helping us work with this set of tools. They are durable and sturdy but also the screwdriver is sort of a softer plastic at the same time. We also have a 1 year old and he loves to chew on them as well. My only complaint is that the toolbox these are supposed to go in is somewhat on the smaller side and the tools don’t in very well all at the same time.

I’m writing this review a year after purchasing this for my son. We absolutely love this tool set! I gave it to him for his 1st birthday, since at the time he was fascinated with projects we were doing around the house. He would carry this little toolbox around with him and “help” with whatever we were putting together or fixing. Now that he’s 2, he’s even MORE interested in mimicking our movements and actions. He’s also more aware of what each tool’s purpose is; for example, when one of his toys ran out of batteries the other day, he came running up to me with his little screwdriver to fix it. 😅 The hammer is also a great tool for pounding toys when you lose the hammer it came with! And, when you’re trying to put something together but your fussy toddler wants to do it too, just hand them one of their tools so they can participate. Stops the whining and you can get the job done! 😅These tools have all held up well to teething. They’re perfect for small hands, and not too heavy or too hard. He still hasn’t quite figured out how to squeeze the handle on the drill to make it move, but that one’s tough even for me.I highly recommend this set for babies and toddlers!!! Learning Resources is a FANTASTIC brand. We also have Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog, the ring stacker moose, and the 3-in-1 building robot; all of which are designed well and grow with your child as they develop new skills.TIP: Get the board book “Tap Tap, Bang Bang” to go with this set!! By Emma Garcia. The tools almost match the book EXACTLY!!! Also on amazon.Hope this helps!! 😉
