I got this as a Christmas gift for my son and we absolutely love it. It's very easy to add the gears and create different ways to stack them. It's pretty sturdy as well.

My son who is 4 seemed to like these! He loves blocks and mind activies so I thought these would be great. They are a preschool recommended toy and great for occupational therapy. Some pieces were hard to get together and apart, and ne needed my assistance for those. However, I feel that is a good toy and allows a child to be creative.

This is a great toy. Bought for my nephew as he enjoys Lego. Both he and his brother enjoyed playing with it (they are 3 and 5), and I will buy more I think for the next birthday.

Es un juguete aguantador para niños pequeños (4 años). Las piezas son faciles de poner y a pesar de que las quiten de forma brusca no se rompen ni se ven dañadas. No solo entretiene a los niños, también a los papás.

This was a gift for my nephew’s 3rd birthday. I don’t have a picture of him playing with the gears, but I do have a rather blurry picture of the packaging. My nephew is struggling a bit to actually connect the gears and prefers to just carry them around and fiddle with them. It’s a good quality toy and he still enjoys the gears, but for a child who has just turned 3 it may be a little hard to get the hang of.

Our, then, 18 month old son found himself magnetically pulled towards this set at a local museum's discovery area. We got his his own set at 20/21 months of age, and for MONTHS now, he's playing with them almost daily. We've had this product for about 5 months now, and both my husband and I consider this set to be one of the best toys we've bought for him.We started him out with chains of orange and green pieces pre assembled (by us) so that he'd learn how to put the gears into the little pegs. Eventually we started making the process harder for him by making smaller preassembled pieces (e.g. shorter chains first then eventually just orange and green piece-pairs preassembled). After 5 months of use, now even if we leave them all completely disassembled, our son seems to be able to put the pieces together to create whatever it is he wants. Just the other day he proudly showed us a "double bus" (i.e., double decker bus) --- two rows 3 gears all connected together. He still isn't able to 100% push all of the pieces tightly together, but even then (surprisingly enough) the pieces don't just fall apart. Yes, they do stay together better when t hey are tightly pushed in, but this toy has been seemingly designed with children who naturally are weaker in strength and dexterity in mind. It's great. I would recommend this toy to anyone who is interested in hearing me rave about it.

My son is a non-verbal autistic and he's 4 years old. But this item because he loves things that spin. They are kind of difficult to put together so he gets frustrated quite easily. What I don't like is that the box is very flimsy and so after a few times of opening and closing its torn all the crap. Maybe he'll get into it as he gets older but for now it just sets in the corner.
