Great to take on the go. Has different game modes. Letters pop off so you can spell with, you can put them back like puzzle pieces. If you push down on them, it'll tell you letter names and sounds. Overall, cute toy. The pen can maybe write a little darker and crisper like some other writing boards and some of the letters don't click in tight enough so you have to close carefully but overall, I'd recommend.

As a previous teacher, I would highly recommend this toy for children 2/3 and up. I bought this for my twin boys because they were showing interests in letters. They love it. I love that it shows the letters adjacent to the writing pad so we can practice writing letters and I can show them what they look like. They also love the songs. Great travel toy and toy for at restaurants when you don’t want to use screen time.

Purchased for 3 yr old grand. She loves it! She can wear it as a back pack, which she loves. The letters come off but adhere well, making this a good travel toy. Excellent quality. Leap Frog doesn't disappoint.
