My son is a bit young for a Leapster. He just turned 3. But he still has fun playing this game because he doesn't get stuck if he doesn't know the correct answer. If he chooses the wrong answer a few times, it takes away that particular choice. Then he runs around and finds another answer to choose. So even though he is a little young for the math in the game, he can still have fun playing it. Plus he likes the character and that always helps.

I never got it. Fedex can't find it. They have put a tracer on it, but no luck so far.

My 5 year old got a leapster for christmas and this was the first game I purchased based on other reviews. They liked it right away but then their interest faded as they got other games. However, they have both come back to this game. And the more they played deigo the more they liked it. It has staying power! they love trying to help save the animals. I would highly recommend it.

I had no idea that Leapster was incompatible with Leap Frog 2 and Leap Frog explorer. Leap Frog should do away with such an old product and fitting it to the new hardware.

I must retract my negative response to this game. I had received a torn box with the game missing, but, upon contacting the purchaser he was most gracious in helping me track the game. He has generously shipped me another one and I so very much appreciate it. My son, who is an animal lover, got this game for his sixth birthday. He seems to really like it. His older brother and sister ages 9 and 7 like it too. I think it would be too young for someone eight or older for educational purposes, but for the recommended ages I think it's a great learning game. It holds his interest and he doesn't get frustrated because the questions are too hard for him to answer. Of course he has his older brother and sister there to help him if he needs it so that helps too. It's a good clean game and I would recommend it for anyone who just wants their kids to get some extra learning time in a fun way.

I bought this game at the same time as the , , & for my daughters 3rd birthday about 8 weeks ago. She loves Dora & Diego and has been picking up so much Spanish (from about the age of 2) that I can't quite believe it. She particularly likes the penguin counting! She's learning a lot, even though she doesn't realise that she's doing anything other than playing on her special 'DS' just like her brother! There is plenty to keep her occupied for some time and I don't think she'll outgrow it any time soon. Wonderful.

I have a 3 and a 5 year old daughter. I would say their most played games are Pet Pals, Kindergarten, Letters on the Loose, and Get Puzzled. We also have this Diego game, a Princess, a Nemo, and an I Spy game that get occassional play. My 3yr old love to watch Diego, but this game does not hold her interest very long.

This is a great game. I ordered it for my son who is 3 years old and will turn 4 this March. I was a little worried when first reading the back of it, as I thought it may be too advanced for him, but it ended up being just fine for him. If he didn't get an answer right, he was just able to continue playing until he found the right answer. It also has multiple games on it and you can pick which level. He is at level one now but since there are more levels he will be able to play it for a long time, switching to higher levels when needed. At first I helped him a bit but now he plays the games by himself.

I bought this, and and this is his first favourite.I think that all these games will be huge favourites but Diego wins out on the first day.
