Poured molten pure lead in it and it solidified. Waited 45 min (did it 3 times) and the only way to get it liquid was to use external heat to remelt it, though it became liquid very quickly. This was the higher wattage unit.Also, the description is "Adjustable".It is not.

I have some pewter and woods metal I can use to cast small metal items that do not experience wear. I could use a kiln that I melt aluminum in, but for small items out of these certain metals it's ideal. I also have some lead, but I tend to avoid it.

This lead melting pot left me thoroughly disappointed. I attempted to melt lead pellets, but despite leaving it running for an extended period, the pot didn’t get hot enough to do the job.Adding to the frustration, the instructions were only in Chinese, leaving me to guess at proper usage. Worse still, the product I received lacks a temperature regulator—it’s equipped with just an On/Off switch.For a tool marketed as a lead melting pot, it falls far short of expectations and functionality. A truly disappointing experience!
