It's nice and firm. It's a decent size for a toddler to sleep on. Even an older child could use it as well. It came already fully expanded. I was expecting it in an air tight vacuum bag that I would have to fluff up after opening, but it was already fluffed.

We have added this to our daughter’s bed and she is all for it! She had slept so comfortably and it gave her the security to want to sleep in her bed by herself. I wouldn’t say this pillow did the trick but it definitely assisted with making her feel comfortable. Awesome purchase!

I bought this pillow for my kid having surgery for scoliosis and it was so perfect. He felt so comfortable and snuggled up while recovering. It holds its shape well but also easy to adjust, soft, colorful, and perfect for his size. He is 5 but on the shorter side. I wish I could give this 100 stars.

My son loves to snuggle up with this body pillow. The cover is very soft and being that the cover is removable makes it so convenient to clean. It has held up very well even after multiple washes over a year’s time period. The pillow itself is very comfortable and provides the perfect amount of firmness in my opinion. Even after being used on a nearly daily basis for over a year it hasn’t gone flat and is still just as comfy as the day we got it. Great purchase!

My 3yo toddler was always a solid sleeper until we took an RV road trip where he got to sleep with us in our bed. He got so used to cuddling with us all night that when we got back home it was a struggle. He would go back and forth between our room and his room, asking to switch pillows and take mine, sleeping on his floor, in our bed, in his bed and then starting all over again ALL IN THE SAME NIGHT, over and over again. I decided to get this because it might feel like he was being cuddled all night in his own bed. It WORKED! It took two or three days for him to adjust to the new pillow but he loves it. He curls up with it every night and sleeps thru, cuddled by the giraffe. It was a worthwhile purchase!

My son (4’ 5”) loves this pillow. He sleeps all night and doesn’t toss and turn like he used to. The only downside so far is that it is already getting kind of flattened. I might try throwing it in the wash to fluff it up. Having the removable cover is a huge bonus!!

This is softer than I expected, and I love that the cover zips off. One of my Snoogle covers doesn’t, and I wasn’t sure if this one would. However, I was expecting this to be just like my Snoogle but smaller, and it’s not actually as densely packed/firm as the full-sized version. I’ll update my review when we see if this helps my son get transitioned to his own bed.UPDATE AFTER A WEEK: 50/50, my son will sleep 8+ hours with this, where normally we're lucky to get about 4 hours before he is up and crying. It also doesn't seem to be changing textures after a couple washings, so I'm pleased with the quality.UPDATE AFTER 8 MONTHS: My son is sleeping through every night (with exceptions if he’s teething or sick) snuggled up with this, and gets right into it at story time also. He’s a snuggler, but not into stuffed animals. He doesn’t go for this when we’ve traveled; he only sleeps well with it in his own bed at home. Whenever we’re home, though, this is great. I have to think the folks whose covers have stitching coming undone got defective items as we’ve washed this every week for 8 months with no issues in quality.
