This “Sodium Thiosulfate” LIQUID breaks down the “calcium deposits“ growing up through BOTH of my chronic lower leg wounds. For over 10 yrs. the hundreds of all kinds of doctors I’ve seen, ALL told me there was nothing that could be done and this calcium has just continued to grow and get thicker in BOTH wounds. Very safe to use, does not burn or sting, and will not harm the surrounding skin. It does work very slowly and is fine for long term use. It is one of the same products used to get rid of scale and build-up on expensive fiberglass boats and also used around the sides of people’s swimming pools. This product is a little cheaper in it’s Crystal form, but we could not see any progress on diminishing the calcium, and also the crystals are very painful in my wounds. The liquid form is soaked into some 4x4 gauze squares and then they are placed all over the 2 wounds, bandaged, and changed daily. My current Wound Care doctor is a DO through a Wound Care Center I go to and gave me the info on this product to order and to try. My insurance does not pay for it, so I order it from Amazon ($20.00, lasts me about two months), and IT WORKS! So after almost a year, it is still working. Good luck…all you can do is try it for yourself.

Loved this product for removing Betadine from my skin after surgery! Since they are so careless with where they apply Betadine before surgery and don’t bother cleaning you up afterward, you are left to try to get it off yourself. A little bit of this stuff on a cotton ball works wonders!! It’s quick, painless, and no scrubbing!

When i got it, about 2 months after i ordered it, It had a leak and had drained halfway out. Its the last time ill take from here.
