We have tried varying concentrations of Hydrogen Peroxide with this Potassium Iodide and did not get the results we were hoping for. We are switching to yeast for our experiments.

If you purchase this for elephant toothpaste be sure to order the high powered peroxide as well. The above compound does not work well with the hair salon peroxide.

While the product itself is fine, when delivered the potassium iodide was leaking everywhere, even around the packaging so the floor under it was soaked, and I lost about 1/4 of the bottle, not to mention got it all over my hands.

We used this to make elephant toothpaste. However we needed to boil it down to increase the concentration. Worked like a charge!
