Used these couplers to connect an existing LC run to an LC-SC adapter to use a media converter I was trying out. Going to keep these on hand as I seem to be standardizing on OS2 single mode fiber for connecting up my outbuildings on my property.

Great option for the price to use and throw away when contaminated. I use the bulkhead tip as an in-between for scoping all my fiber jumpers to keep from chipping the cladding. Having these allows me to use and throw away if contaminated without concern of cost.

Made the mistake of buying a long fiber cable with very little extra length. Contractors installed it their own way instead of following instructions, so it was about 20 feet short. Bought these and a 10 meter patch cable and it worked perfectly.
