This light was very easy to assemble, has a simple design/look that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, and turns on and off like clockwork every day for the last month. My plant is thriving underneath it when it was previously not doing well.

We just got the light yesterday, so it'll be awhile before we know just how effective it is. However, what I can say is that it was easy to assemble and get running (if lights can "run," that is). The controls are easy to learn, and I appreciate the fact that you can adjust the light intensity as well as the timing and lighting duration. Oh, and another thing, the pole is in three sections, so the height can be adjusted for use on either table or floor.

We bought this lamp because pictures in the description showed quite narrow light spread - no more then 50 degrees. Its wrong, the light spreads 180 degrees sideways. It creates very bright, evenly spread light, almost no shadows from plant leaves. Color temperature was about 6000-6500 K at max intensity. It seems like lower light intensity had lower color temperature. Unfortunately, it did not work for us because we wanted to place it above a tall and skinny dracaena tree in the corner of the room, about 9 ft of the floor. The bright light from smaller 6" light lightened up the whole 500 sq ft room and blinded us. It would be a great plant light if placed below the eye level.

I’ve had this for about a month now and wasn’t sure how good of a light it would actually be because of how affordable it was but it’s actually been great! There a corner where I have a plant stand in my room that gets /some/ indirect sunlight but honestly not enough. I put the lamp there and all of my plants have been SO much happier! I moved my marble queen pothos to be under the light because she’s getting too big to sit in my window and she’s been THRIVING! I use the automatic timer on the 9 hour setting and it’s been wonderful. You don’t have to do anything if you use the timer settings. I had been turning it off and on automatically but one morning I put it on around 9 am on the 9 hour setting because I was gonna be gone until the next day and didn’t want my plants to have a light on them all night so need it to shut off on it’s own at some point.I found out that it keeps its own 24 hour timer and once it turns off it doesn’t turn on again until the original time you turned it on the next day. Now my lamp turns on at the same time every morning by itself, shines lights on my plants for 9 hours, then shuts off and stays off until the next morning. It’s been absolutely perfect and a huge life saver for my plants and my own time. The only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars for me is that I wish the cord was longer and didn’t plug in at the top. I had to get an extension cord just so the wire wasn’t being pulled across my room, partially in the air, and it’s only about 6 ft away from the socket

I have another grow light that has visible red, white, and blue LED lightbulbs while on the full spectrum mode, but this one has an opaque cover on the bulbs and creates a very warm and pleasant light that really adds to the ambiance in the room! The stand itself is very sturdy and stable, and the base is compact. My outdoor plant is overwintering indoors, and is doing very well with it so far. The controls are very easy to operate for the various functions. I would highly recommend this grow light!

Assembly was easy, I love that it has different brightness levels, and that you can adjust the height and change the position of the lamp to direct the light. To top it all off, once you set your brightness and timer you'll never need to bother it again. Once you set how long you want it to be on it automatically starts again at the same time for the same duration without you even touching it. This was an excellent idea!!
