This is the prefect dry cowbell sound for what I play. If LP would put their clamp style mount on more cowbells that aren't $60+ then this would be 5 stars. The eye bolt style just doesn't hold up to playing for very long without loosening.

I had a black LP cha-cha bell which a colleague has never returned. That bell was purchased 30 years ago. Glad to find this option. Since I use the bell with flamenco music, with the slightly lower tone, the cha-cha bell is not as loud and overwhelming as a real mambo bell or bongo bell. Good lighter sound for my purposes. The larger bells are for bigger salsa groups with horns that drive at a louder volume level.

Absolutely loved it. Great addition to my cowbell set up. Its low pitched but still great sound. Looks well built and like all lp products, great quality.

Terrible sound for a cha cha bell. It is almost as bad as the aspire cowbell that comes with the aspire timbales. This may just be my opinion, but its sound is entirely too low pitched for a cha cha bell.
