I used this to replace a bad caulk job left for me by the previous owner. This product is easy to work with provided you use a large sponge that has rounded edges to finish the gap you are caulking. Make sure you wring the sponge out thoroughly as to be only damp. Keep a bucket of water near by to clean the sponge as needed. First use your finger to "tool" the caulk line after you apply. Keep something handy to wipe your finger after you smooth the caulk line i. e. a paper towel or a cloth that you don't mind to throw away. Go over your caulk line with the damp sponge to finish the job. Run the sponge in one direction to get a smooth line. You may have to go over the line with more than one pass till you achieve the desired result. My gaps were very large about a 1/2 inch so I used two coats on the joint. It seems to be fine as far as bonding with the first coat. I don't know if the manufacturer of this product intended 2 coats but seemed to work fine for me. If you have that large of a gap make sure you fill the gap with some backer rod to avoid having to use so much caulk and labor to fill. I didn't do that and as a result I had to use 2 tubes of caulk where I should have been fine with 1.

Great product! It looks great and I haven’t had any issues with mold. Saw a review on here that said they had mold within weeks. You need to make sure you clean the area with alcohol and let it dry first. Otherwise you are going to get mold regardless of what product you use. Shipped pretty quick too.
