As someone who loves tackling DIY projects around the house, I recently added the 3rd Hand Jack to my toolkit, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools. I stumbled across this product when I needed to repair my undermount kitchen sink that had fallen. Here’s my review based on my experience using it:Ease of Use: One of the standout features of the 3rd Hand Jack is how easy it is to use. The adjustable height and sturdy construction make it a breeze to set up and adjust to the perfect height for whatever task you're working on. I bought this to work on my sink. I didn't have another person to help me and this product made it so easy to do alone.Versatility: I've found the 3rd Hand Jack to be incredibly versatile. It's not limited to just one type of project or task. I've used it for everything from supporting ceiling panels during installation to creating a temporary workbench extension. The ability to extend and retract the pole and adjust the head makes it adaptable to various situations.Durability: I'm impressed with the durability of this tool. The construction feels solid, and the components are well-made. I've put it through some tough jobs, and it has held up without any signs of wear or weakening. This gives me confidence that it will continue to be a reliable tool for years to come.Safety: Safety is always a top priority when working with tools, and the 3rd Hand Jack doesn't disappoint in this regard. The anti-slip rubber feet provide stability on various surfaces, reducing the risk of accidents. The locking mechanism is also secure, ensuring that the pole stays in place once adjusted.Value for Money: I think this thing is a steal. You get two of them for $36 at the time of writing this. Its durability also means it's a tool that will last, making it a good long-term investment for any DIY enthusiast or professional contractor. In conclusion, I highly recommend the 3rd Hand Jack to anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and easy-to-use tool for their DIY projects. It has certainly made my life easier and has become an essential part of my toolbox.

These lifts made installing an under-mount sink a breeze. I had silicon put on around the edges of the sink when it was about 3 inches from contact of the countertop then slowly raised each lift one by one slowly while aligning the sink perfectly. No sweat, no stress, no assistant needed. Well built and works as designed.

Saw negative reviews saying these don't work, or that they won't go up. Well, mine straight out of the box didn't work correctly either but guess what. All I had to do was pull the release tab and move the poles all the way out and then back in and they worked immaculately. I am a professional cabinet builder/installer and these are amazing for wall cabinets, turning a 2 man job into a 1 man job. You can confidently place the cabinet on these and walk away if you want to. You can also quickly make some 8-inch stands for these and now they can be used for makeup drawers on bathroom vanities. I saw people in the reviews also say that "Watch out 'cause it comes down abruptly!" That's just incompetence. These Jacks are for mounting items. There should never be a scenario where you pull the release tab under load. These are not designed for that. Buy these now!! at the $36 dollar price right now it's an absolute steal. High-quality product!

My renovation job: Install kitchen cabinets by myself. Experience level: Novice (as in, I've never ever done this before). Problem: Due to timing considerations, the countertop had to go in before the uppers, which is in reverse to how the experts advise to do it. Result: Amazingly easy with the FastCap Little Hands!I installed a ledger board for the rear and used these hands to support the fronts. I simply lifted the cabinets into place and took my time to shim them up and make minor corrections to level and plumb. My cabinets are accurate to within 1/32" of an inch. Incredible. I can't imagine how on earth I would have installed the cabinets without this amazing product.I could make tiny, minor adjustments using the hand lever that were so precise, it blew my wife away as she watched. And they're strong. I assembled a run of cabinets that started on one side of the fridge, included the cabinet that went over the fridge, and then ended on the other side of it. Wife and I lifted the run into place using one 3rd Hand on one side, and the other on the other side. No problem taking the weight for the 3rd Hands. Sturdy and secure. As soon as they were into place, I could take my time securing the entire run in one shot.Thank you for this amazing product. Well worth the cost even if I never use them again, although I'm sure I will. I saved a ton of money installing my cabinets myself, and now I know they're done right, and I'm proud to say I did it myself (well, with a little help from a third hand... and my wife). ;-)

Purchased these to supplement the lift box I built and have been using for the better part of 20 years installing commercial and upper end residential cabinetry. I wanted a system that was lite and easy to use for small installs. The Fast Cap Little Hands HD are a perfect fit for this application! Well built with plenty of capacity to support large commercial P-lam cabinets, stable enough to trust while fastening the wall cabinets in place, quick adjusting to get the load to the proper position saving time on the site while still lite weight enough to make them very easy to pack up and transport!Overall an excellent product and well thought out...with one exception! This brings us to the reason that I gave the Little Hands 4 stars instead to 5 and the major flaw in the design of this product! While the Little Hands DO have a threaded fine adjust shaft on the bottom of the unit, there is no corresponding pivot for the top pad to make small adjustment up AND down by simply twisting the shaft of the unit! If you need to make a fine adjustment to lower the load, the only way to lower the top pad and the load on it is to release the pumpjack lever, there by DROPPING the load in most cases multiple inches and starting over! I can tell you this can be quite unsettling with a 100 lb. cabinet overhead!!!! Turning the shaft of the Little Hand with a load on it will basically result in the same drop of load! I came to the conclusion that this product was too good to simply send back and was really close to what I was looking for...so after a little thought and a call to Fast Cap I made a small modification that has effectively solved this issue and given the Little Hand the capacity to be fine adjusted UP and DOWN with out releasing the pumpjack lever! Basically, I fabricated new inserts for the top of the movable pump shaft/pad, bored to let the top pad spin freely under load making the bottom threaded shaft usable! FastCap confirmed that the Plastic inserts are compression fitted and easily removed with a couple blows from a small hammer, (same procedure as the older 3rd hand models outlined on the Fast Cap site), I made my new inserts out of Hard Maple since my experience/talent lay with wood fabrication and not so much in metal There may be an advantage to using metal but the Hard maple seems to be more then adequate and standing up to well! Two roughly 1 1/2" lengths of 30mm dowel/rod, (I used a 1 3/8" hole saw to cut the rounds and sanded them to a snug fitting size), then bored a 31/64 hole for the shaft. I inserted a metal plug, (nock out from a steel electrical box since it was readily available), in the pad hole to keep the pump shaft from wearing into the pad and pressed in the new wood insert! This simple and quick modification has completely changed the usability of the Little Hand and I would love to see Fast Cap simply add an extra insert for this purpose...easy fix!Cheers
